Kandy is central Sri Lanka. Other beautiful cities in central Sri Lanka is nuwara eliya, Ella, matale etc. In northern and north central Sri Lanka we have Anuradhapura, polonnaruwa, Jaffna, and Trincomalee in north eastern area.

Kandy is 1 of the most beautiful cities in world. But rapid urbanization will destroy the beauty of the city. Government should maintain kandy as a historic and tourist city. Kandy should not be industralized

Do not directly go to Ella. Go to Nuwara Eliya, Horton plains , then go to Ella. Would be lifetime experience. You will see many waterfalls breathing sceneries. Beautiful mountains. In Horton plains you can see leapods as well, highest waterfall, second and third highest mountains are situated in Horton plains

The wildlife you saw walking around the city in case you are interested. The birds you saw at the lake appear to be spot-bill pelicans. Monkeys you saw are toque macaque. The Sri Lankan Elephant is one of the three sub-species of Asian Elephant.

Great video as always. If Sri Lankans can unite and get this city cleaned up and maintain well, Kandy is a beautiful place Infrastructure need regular maintenance and pedestrians need more space to walk freely and safely. Almost no night life here due to the Temple of tooth presence, which is dissapointing. Traffic management need to improve a lot.

mainly Kandy has a tropical climate but it is situated in 500m above sea level. So due to that atitude kandy city experiences some subtropical climate vibe at the same time. Basically nights and mornings are cool and days are warm but not as like colombo.(30-20°C),december to january the temperature can be dropped down to 15°C at night and morning times.mosty city has a temperature range about (18-29°C) throughout the year
