Im living in the US, and you can never take your vehicles into a garage for repairs and get out as fast as in Sri lanka. The repair shops will rip you off for just a minor repair. Sri Lanka is the best.

Very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. I wish you showed and given the details of the young guys who helped you to pull your broken schooty to the garage. That would have been a great gratitude towards them .also will encourage many youngsters to help the needy. I come from a closeby village, Naranpanawa. These locations were our hiking destinations in my childhood. The river beneath is Huluganga, coming all the way from the Knuckles mountain range which is a fantastic destination for hiking. Also you can see Hunnasgiriya mountain which is also a hiking destination. Not forgeting the numerous other natural beauties and rich eco system values by the nature lovers. I really miss these places which I roamed freely in the past.

Hey Dude, if your in Kandy go visit the Dalada Maligawa (temple of tooth), the Asgiriya and Malwatte temples. Ask them whether they have meditation retreats and that's when you will experience the real tranquility of Kandy!
