I've been bingeing all of your amazing videos, Dara! Thanks so much for making them. I love your simplified account strategy and broader targeting. I'm curious if you think these strategies also apply to B2C info product brands (art courses). Most marketing strategy for info products is focused on B2B brands, so I never know what to use: info product strategies (lead magnets, funnels, etc.) or ecomm strategies (direct to sales pages). Also, since we don't have to worry about shipping and we have customers all over the world, would it be crazy to use a Worldwide broad audience in a prospecting campaign? Would love to see a video on how you can apply your process to info brands. Thanks again!

I don't recommend stacking interests in the beginning because you may need to know which audience give you the lowest CPM. Once you've determined with interests have the lowest CPM + most conversions, you can then stack them into one adset and be pretty sure that you'll get the same or better results from the winning interests stacked together. CPM is a good indicator that your ads + messaging clicks with the user so the lower it is the easier it is to reach more for less! =) Other than that, great video Dara!
@DaraDenney

Sorry, but this is not correct! CPM is not a good indicator of performance, so this would be a wasted effort IMO.

Lesser CPM > More views > More clicks > Higher CTR > Higher Traffic > More conversions @@DaraDenney So yeah for me, CPM is a good indicator for performance which tells if the ad is working or a way to increase the conversions.
@DaraDenney
@DaraDenney 2 жыл бұрын
@@hisham4evr That's not a fact, Hisham. CPMs might mean more "views" but often times that is a less valuable audience. So less CTR. Less traffic. I've seen high CPMs equal the most conversions, but it's never a one to one experience.
@nidiaarauz
@nidiaarauz 2 жыл бұрын
@@DaraDenney This is such a great discussion and I agree with what you are saying as well. I have seen cases of a converting adset with high CPMs but I would have to turn them off because even if its getting sales, the CPA tends to be higher than is justifiable to the cost of the actual product. This is why I tend to test audiences, search for low CPMs + High CTRs to figure out which adsets + ads make sense to continue running. But yes, I do believe you are right as well and I give this format a try in my ad accounts.
@hisham4evr
@hisham4evr 2 жыл бұрын
From what I have learnt is If the audience is "less valuable" then the CPM would simply increase, that's how CPM works I believe @@DaraDenney Never had an experience with higher CPM = most sales, though I had sales with higher CPMs, this is new!

Thanks for the great video(s). Awesome. One thing I’d like to ask you: I start wondering why retargeting should be in a different campaign. Wouldn’t it be better to add it as a ad group? As it has the exact same objective and ad creatives are also equal… I’m starting to think that it might be better in terms of learning for the campaign and/or less competing with yourself. Did you test something like this? Or what is your take on it? Thanks in advance!

Hey Dara - quick question. Is there a way to weed out people from certain locations under the "Social Engaagers" list if your brand is only selling in the US for instance? If you don't exclude non-US social engagers from the list, retargeting budget is going to be spread thin right?

@@DaraDenney Lovely! So that location part should be treated as an "and" function which I did not know before. Thanks much for getting back! Gun video btw. Especially for someone like me trying to learn FB ads to scale my POD e-commerce store - this sets a great baseline. One thing I'm doing right now is to run my "Prospecting campaign" with "Traffic" as the goal & concurrently run a "Retargeting campaign" with a "conversion" goal. I will give it another week or so to see if I'm getting sales and if not I could kill both campaigns and create a new "Prospecting campaign" with "Conversion" as the goal to see if that brings better quality prospects. :)

Best FB ads video I’ve seen. You have master knowledge with the Facebook platform and high level marketing skills. We currently spend $5k a day on FB link click ads and it’s been really profitable for us. My wife and I own a cosmetics brand. We run traffic to a squeeze product comparison page and from there potential customers can click on a link to our product page which is on a totally different website. While really profitable, it’s like throwing darts and hoping they stick because we have no conversion data. I tried triple whale using the UTM tracking pixel but it won’t pick up the data since we use one website for the squeeze page and another for our main product page. I would really like to test the conversion objective right to our product page, I have UGC videos and pic ads but I tried it for about a week and lost money. If you are up for the challenge to scale our cosmetics brand I’d sure like to chat with you.
