Hello Dara, than you for this great video.... Question: What is the minimum budget should I start with (in Purchase objective campaigns) in order to get my ads quickly optimized and exit the learning phase? I start with $20 or $40, but I get horrible results, too high CPC and CPM ($100) with no sales. so I pause the ads after 2 or 3 days... If I left it running for a week, will Facebook learn enough and optimizes?

Is it worth adding a MOFU campaign if your product is a bit more expensive? And just optimizing for conversions on every campaign?

Hi Dara, thanks for this - your video was a mixture of reassurances that I'm getting things right, but also food for thought. I still run Traffic ads for my DTC clients, to help feed into my remarketing Conversion campaigns (I have prospecting campaigns running too). I've found it hard to "let go" and pause these, especially for clients who focus on website sessions as a KPI. To improve the quality of website traffic, would changing the Traffic ads to prospecting Conversion campaigns optimised for a LPV (instead of purchase) work? I found this worked well for my clients on TikTok, but my Facebook ad spend is higher so it's more of a risk! Thank you

Long story short if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Aka if it’s profitable for you leave it running. Moving forward just optimize for purchases for new campaigns.

Hi Dara ! Thank you a gain for this great content ! I was just wondering if even for luxury brand (high ticket product) to have only prospecting and retargeting campaign as it is a long process to buy. What’s your thought on that ?

Yep! I would just be sure to bump up the retargeting windows to something like 180 days or 90 days instead of 30 days.

Hi Dara, if your frequency metric for remarketting is significantly below 4 (say 2.5) does that signal that you should increase budget? Where do you think the sweet spot lies?

Would you say insufficient budget could be another issue? Let's say if the brand has only $1000 to $1500 per month to run ads. How will you suggest them to run campaigns? Thanks.

I am launching ads and first day I am getting around 3-5 conversions ( 10 adsets, 10 dollars each, each with different interests), the ctr is high around 4-5 and the cpc is as low as 0.08 sometimes but after the third day or fourth, the cpc goes to 0.2 and ctr down to 2-2.5. Is this ad fatigue or you think it is the offer or product I am doing?

Hi Dara, I'm a little confused about mistake 1. In your video about setting up the 50K/month ad account. You are using the tofu, mofu and bofu strategy. And in this video you call it a mistake. Can you explain that? Is that strategy dated or something? Thanks!

I’m really talking about using different optimizations. But ya, I don’t really use the tofu, mofu, bofo structure. Main point is though that you shouldn’t use traffic or engagement campaigns.

Great tips Dara, love your content. In regards to targeting, we have a product that's aimed at people of a particular religion. Since detailed targeting has been removed, how do we go about targeting this group? None of the related keywords are there and this has blindfolded us. The product is online education and aimed at parents with kids from 4-12 yrs old.

Hi Dara thanks for your video! I've a question: if your product is for both male and gender but we create creatives specifically for man and women, do you run in 2 different adset (Male and Female broad audiences) or in 1 stacked together? Theorically algorithim put budget where there's more interaction and conversion... but for example a shampoo UGC with a woman doesn't talk to a man.

1. Using FB Ads "Funnel" when your objective is to get Sales. 2. Testing more audiences than creatives. 3. Not testing into Broad Audiences. 4. Relying only on in-platform metrics. 5. Not looking at the right metrics. 6. Testing only on two creative metrics. 7. Not considering your landing page, offer and products. 8. Spending too much on retargetting. 9. Not having a cohesive Creative Strategy. 10. Only testing on FB Ads.

So much conflicting info online. Others have suggested using engagements to help warm up the account because the second you go and test a product and then scale it FB is shutting you down.

Question...I know you encourage us to use broad but what if the product that's being sold is for a very specific audience. For example, my client sells wholesale LED lights to people who are registered electricians. You literally can't buy the product as a regular consumer. Broad wouldn't make sense in this case, right?

Hi Dara! As a Meta Marketing Expert I want to compliment you on your current vision. It is pretty accurate. Only the first part about only running conversion campaigns, I totally not agree. It depends really on the market and product. Sometimes retargeting is only profitable and prospecting isnt. And I use traffic(opt for landingpage) to test my creative concepts, because the reach is much higher than conv campaign. After testing the best performers are used for conv

Hi Dara. I 100% agree with your initial point. When trying to sell a product engagement campaigns are not the way to-go. But on smaller budgeted campaigns, I would recommend making the first button click which indicates a sale [most often "add to cart], the primary KPI. It's indicative of traffic you want FB to target AND will increase the conversion count, which is often an issue on low-budgeted campaigns. Thoughts?
