Beautiful and beyond words!! There are so many aspects of this performance that can be analyzed and highlighted, but I will leave that to the discerning audience and the viewers who like me, are leaving their apt comments here. The achievement of these two young sisters is astounding, but it also reflects on the vision and Saliqa of their father, who knew from the beginning what he wanted his daughters to do. The ta'leem of these two sisters includes Ustad Shahid Parvez as the teacher, especially of Sanskrati Wahane. Subhanallah! Wah! A word of praise here for DARBAR too, who are making a vital contribution to Indian music by bringing such excellence to the quality of audio-video recordings of these and other outstanding artists. Tablist Yashwant Vaishnava's Tabla was outstanding too! Beautiful concert altogether. The fragrance of roses!!

Just watched the entire performance on player! My heart sunk when the sitar string broke in the beginning of the performance but it was amazing how both of them maintained their composure and finished the show excellently. Spellbinding music!

Notice that the sisters are providing gaps for his improvisations. He is not intervening them. In such gaps, they are repeating the same phrase which acts as a nagma, allowing master Yashwant to showcase his brilliance. This is what perfect accompaniment sounds like.
