Can someone explain the glitch he did with the save menu? I understand what he did, but why did it happen?

He warped to C-1, then went back to the start menu. Since he was on C-1, the game thought his last level cleared was B-4. So the game kicked him back there, and he used a warp pipe to get to D-1.

+Andrew Blechinger That isn't true. Darbian manually changed the save data from Cw-1 to Bw-4 in the Super Mario Allstars menu. This caused him to start in world B-4.
