In Jesse’s defense, he definitely has issues with alcohol. He says he’s seen too many people’s lives destroyed by alcohol. I actually assumed that maybe his dad had an alcohol problem. Darcey has since proven that she has a drinking problem, even got arrested for a drunken bar fight with her sister. It actually came out that during her visit she got so drunk and ran out and fell in some bushes. The cameras weren’t there but apparently by the time they had the conversation where he asked her to not drink anymore, it was after a much crazier incident than her acting sassy at his apt.

People: Age MATTERS. It absolutely matters. Dating a young person when you are 'mature, (I'm in that 50's age group,) is almost always a bad idea. It's terribly unfair to the younger partner and a total waste of time for the older partner. The older partner always feels very insecure and the younger one is always much aware of the age difference. It's NOT a good idea.
