Honestly, in the Singapore car review space, your review is the most comprehensive one. The way you cover the features and drive, is something i find relatable, as you use simple to understand words. Looking forward to expansion of video contents like cost of running hybrid vs electric? what situation makes hybrid/electric a better choice? Buying a second hand ev, how should you inspect the car? what are some of the common issues of some of this second hand car that we as buyers need to take note? How does driving habit (blasting of aircon, more peak hour traffic, being heavy footed)affect the range in a particular EV? 😅 just bouncing some ideas!

I just came back from a vacation to Vietnam and was surprised by the amount of electric taxis and scooters - mainly VinFast branded! They’ve still got a long way to go but it was good to see the progress towards cleaner energy transportation in other SEA countries!

When ICC is engaged, activating signal for lane change will temporary turn of the Lane Keeping assist but will be automatically re-engaged once the lane change is complete with signalling turn off.

It is known as Active Cruise Control (ACC) and yes, no need to turn off or on, just turn and when back on straight it’ll be back activated. Also can just step on accelerator to overtake, and then release it for ACC to take control when done. Can also adjust distance from the front car by 1, 2, or 3 car length.

I have a Atto 3. Totally enjoy driving the BYD EV car. The Seal is more luxurious than Atto 3. Would have consider the Seal if it has a normal roof than a moon roof and a larger boot space.

It will be good for consumers if BYD sells here in US. IMO, I interested in cost of ownership life of the vehicle. If there is some data for BYD, it will be interesting to know which vehicle cost less etc.

Wheels are 18" Alloy 225/50 R18. Don't have a good answer on the software update frequency yet!

BYD has more affordable vehicles like BYD Dolphin and ATTO 3. For luxury sedans, BYD Seal and Tesla Model 3 are comparably priced (Teslas have better ARF value).

The car is impressive. But what turns me off is the huge iPad BYD stuck on the interior. It breaks up the design of the interior making it look ugly. And notice whenever he changes anything through the screen while driving, he takes his eyes off the road. We already do that with smaller infotainment screens, what more with an iPad right in your face.
