Hello everyone Lionel, you manage to give each piece that special something. I'm very fascinated by how you can give a piece so much personal Lionel Yu character. It puts me/us in a really good mood to listen and watch when you are connected to your piano and in the flow. I think that's exactly the special thing I mean, because you can convey your "flow feeling" to the listener, your joy and connection. "we are one" goes very well with it! We all feel, each individually, but we all can and may sympathize. I definitely agree. Thank you Lionel for sharing all of this with us, with the world. @@zetizahara Pretty sure the big man didn't compose Greensleeves. He would have heard the 'plucked' strings of the clavichord and possibly the harpsichord. The earlier dulcimer had the struck strings of the later piano.

I hate Greensleeves. 🫣 It featured a lot in my childhood, which was not a happy one. So it always has an unpleasant sensory effect on me. I normally avoid it like the plague. But having just discovered your incredible work, I had to take a deep breath and see if you'd transformed this piece like you have others. And... Oh My God. 😮 Talk about having a magician's touch! That dramatic, almost gothic spin you put on this is nothing short of magnificent. I absolutely loved it. It actually brought me to tears hearing a piece that, for decades, held visceral unpleasantness for me, be recrafted so exquisitely. Thank you. 🙏 🖤🎹🤍
