Justin Hartley also played The Green Arrow for a few years on Smallville...just sayin', don't need the crazy Aquaman reference for him when you got Smallville yo! pretty sure Aquaman/Mercy Reef was The CW too, which was weird because they filmed it/wanted to release it at the same time he started on Smallville as Oliver Queen...and on Smallville we had already seen Arthur Curry portrayed by another actor.

About breaking even with movies: Usually cinemas take 50% of the ticket price, then they need the advertisement budget, which is why they often calculate a movie needs three times the budget to break even. However, with a lot of big movies the ad costs are off-set by the money they make through licensing merchandise. Disney is a special case, because they use their dominant position to bully cinemas. Disney takes 70% of the ticket sales in the first two weeks and then decrease their percentage gradually. And if a cinema doesn't show their blockbusters (Marvel, Star Wars, animated movies...) they don't get the smaller movies like Trainspotting 2 (which is interestingly a Disney movie),

They don't gotta stop making these, but I desperately need that classic Fatman on Batman fix.

Although I was familiar with a lot of the comic artist and writers they interviewed on that show, I ended up learning so much from listening to those interviews, it was inspiring stuff and that podcast made me like Kevin Smith, I was never a fan of his movies but I became a fan of him through his podcast show. I used to listen to his show while drawing comic art pieces and those interviews just inspired me to practice more and continue pursuing my goals. IIf I ever meet Kevin Smith in real life ima have to tell em this, I'm really really tthankful for all those fatman on batman interviews and episodes, I got so much knowledge from em.

Being a big fan of the books, I hated Lynch's Dune when it first came out but have since reversed my opinion to the point of loving the quotefest at the end. Ornate as it was, it didn't do justice to the complexity of the universe Herbert created. I am looking forward to another stab at it though: the SyFy stuff wasn't bad, but its TV budget did show.

Query proposed to Kevin and Marc as well as viewers and subscribers: Since Fox's X-Men universe started in 2000, to Marvel's in 2008, along with Dc and eventually Sony, all franchises began (logically and necessarily) with the wide swinging blockbusters; solo Avenger's movies, X-Men ensembles, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman were all the films that gained momentum for the studios. Since then, we have seen the large budgeted, smaller scale blockbuster contributors such as Deadpool, New Mutants, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man and even a contending Suicide Squad and Spider-Man. Now that there is a well earned golden ticket on any movie with those studio's brand, how long until we get even more experimental, smaller scale, exciting movies that Wonder Woman, Black Panther and the would-be Black Widow solo movie fans would be excited to see? i.e. Let's say the Russo brothers went to Kevin Feige and said "Hey, we were cleaning out the couch in the Marvel employee's lounge and found $20 million. Can we make a movie starring Black Widow, the Wasp, Falcon, Justin Hammer and Mordo?" When will we see these kind of movies for any of the four studios and what would be you advisory opinion/ strategy you would implement? Open to all opinions.
