WE'VE BEEN SIMULTANEOUSLY FOLLOWING TWO JASON1S AND TWO JASON2S: I was rewatching some of the episodes (jumping around really) ahead of episode 8 being released. What I discovered is that we have been following two Jason1s and two Jason2s simultaneously with their stories overlapping. The giveaway lies in the small details in terms of the layout and decor of their homes -the brownstone. It's practically pointed out to us in the first episode when Jason2 is having trouble making coffee. If you pay attention to the coffee pot's location you'll see that half of the time it's immediately to the right of the fridge and the other half of the time it's to the left of the blender which is left of the sink. Also, the pictures on the walls near the bottom of the stairs change as well depending on which home we're in at the time.

THERE ARE AT LEAST SIX JASONS. Turn on the audio descriptions when the new Jason walks into the gun store. "Jason 6 turns" is how they address the second Jason in the store.

That could be the case. If that is the case then I don't think the gun store we see at the end was in a reality we have seen yet.

Jason 2 has the wedding ring of the Og Jason on his finger, while Jason 1(Og) has a brace on his finger as a reminder of his family. However, Jason 3 doesn't have a brace on his wedding finger but a bandage on his pinky, so there are definitely three of them.

J¹ has a homemade ring on his finger, J² has the OG wedding ring on his. In the gun shop we see J¹ wearing a homemade ring and J² comes in next with a ring and a hurt finger. The one with the hurt finger reacts exactly like J² would react hearing that information & he just sledge hammered a concrete wall, so he hurt his hand. Maybe there is a twist, but I'm sticking with 2 😁

The first Jason that walks in the store is J1, the one with the rubber band on his finger. The second Jason that walks in has the same clothes as the first but we don't see if his has a ring on his finger. Just the bandage. He also has the mark on his nose. The scenes are so close to each other that we are under the impression that J2 is still at home. Tricky! But if there was a J3, why would the second Jason that walked in the store be so worried? So I think that the second Jason that walked in the store is J2, who realizes that J1 is back. Can I explain the same clothes? No. Can I explain the change of scenery (house to store)? No.

I didn't disagree and after looking again the second Jason does have something in his ring finger, the bandage is on his pinky. BUT to other people's point J² does not have a bandage when we last see him. Does that mean it's a J³ no, I can't really figure a motive & timeframe for this character, but I can see how people think this. It's definitely not out of the question.

Tbh if for the sake of argument we just say it's not J² then it makes more sense that neither of them is a Jason we have seen. That the reality we see the gun store is not the same reality J¹ or J² is in at all. And the reaction makes more sense, that other Jason's are playing out this scenario of cat and mouse as well. Than a J³ just appearing the the reality with both J¹ and J².

I don't think so, I feel like J² hurt his hand bringing alt Ryan back. Because a third Jason wouldn't react surprised to the news that he has a "twin". A 3rd Jason would know that there is at least one more him walking around. He acted surprised and worried because he knows he is supposed to be the only version in that reality. And J² already has an illegal gun that he may have gotten rid of with Daniella asking about the storage unit & the cops sniffing around.

I think there is at least three Jason’s. The second Jason in the gun shop reacted that way bc he knows that he left creator at the home with his family. Creator Jason could not have gotten to the gun shop before him, hence a third Jason

Why couldn't J¹ get to the gun shop before J²? When did the J³ arrive since the box was sealed for a day or two. Has he been wandering around this whole time? My issue is there is no reason for a J³ to exist in this reality, especially one with a motive to get a gun. If he was looking to hurt someone he would have brought a gun with him like J² did. But most likely next week will tell 😁

Has to be a series two. To wrap this up next week would be far too lazy a thing with so many alternatives at play with fruitful storylines. And let's not forget the 'evil' limping Leighton version!!!. But yes, there's three Jason's now. I'm just less surprised there's not more (which there are; just not in this universe). Ah darn....another week to go. Not even an alternate reality could fix that......or could it?

I was wrong there are two weeks, but yes the point remains there is enough story to do another season. I believe I am wrong about my gun store theory & think that there are more and I am thinking that gun store scene may be in a different reality entirely. But there are most likely a few good and even Jason's. J² did say he injected himself 100+ times so. Thanks for the comment!!!

*Jason 2 looked so surprised he needed a type of licence to buy guns, either he just wasnt aware or it's not his universe, it's Jason 3's universe, so our Jason 2 isn't home, he is in a very similar universe.* 🤟🏽🤙🏽🤟🏽 Sliders did similar stuff where they really think they are home, it's still season 1 of Dark Matter so it's likely he isn't quite home.

Actually Ryan will come back on a end credit scene setting up next season drama ....just a theory but I feel a season 2 is going happen shows getting good word of mouth

So when I watched the whole episode with audio description on they refered to the 2nd Jason in the gun store as Jason 6. Jason 1 is the og Jason. Jason 2 obviously is the one who took over Jason 1's world. Jason 3 is the one with where Amanda got shot. Jason 4 is the one in pandemic world where he died. Jason 5 is the one where Jason 1 was standing next to bed with what they call Daniela 7 (the one where Max is alive) and Jason 6 is the one from the gun store.

I think the episode where Jason OG went to the world where he is supposed to be in jail might be for the disappearance of the Ryan from that world.

Since it was aired last night, I've watched several KZbin reviews of episode 7, and am surprised by how many reviewers FAILED to realize that there are now THREE Jasons in Jason1's universe. The comment sections of these reviews (yours included) are filled with folks pointing out that it's not Evil Jason who came to the gun shop, but a third Jason. My Best Guess/Theory is Jason3 is a "echo" of Jason2, which is why they're dressed exactly alike. How/when he was created may have been when Jason1 was in superposition. Remember, when the superposition experiment was explained to the college students in Episode 1, there were two cats--one alive/one dead. Somehow, when the door was opened by Jason1 to his real world, both the alive & dead versions of Jason survived--with the second Jason appearing/emerging from the Box minutes later. Like a delayed shadow, he is following every move of Jason1. The other explanation is Jason3 is from another universe--but that does NOT explain why Jason2 and Jason3 are dressed alike; and why they say exactly the same thing to the gun shop clerk. Episodes 8 & 9 are going to be mind-benders!

It is a possibility, but the motive for a third Jason is questionable. Now your theory on an echo version could work, it's not how the thought experiment works, but this is TV ha. When the box is opened the cat has a reality where it is dead and a reality where it is alive, both real, both exist. So it could be that an almost exact situation occurred, J³ was abducted by an evil J⁴ and this Jason thinks he is back in a reality to kill J⁴. Which is why he is surprised that another Jason was just in the shop. And he may end up killing the wrong Jason, our J¹. Who knows, but there is also a chance that it's just two and none of that happens lol. It could be clever editing, this sort of discussion happened with Constellation. But we will see, I still think Ryan and Amanda will meet in their reality, possibly helping J¹.

3rd Jason was how I saw it too. Plus, the odds of Jason 1 and Jason 2 wearing the exact same thing after all this time is pretty low. But a Jason 3 who just got back would not only be wearing the same thing, he would have the same plan to go to same gun place.

@MartyAlaniz I think the improbability of either situation is very low ha But yes there could be multiple Jason's, looking for multiple evil Jason's all hunting each other. Hell that last scene could be in a totally different reality all together and neither of them was a Jason we know.

There’s a new sherif in town and his name Jason1 🤠😅😅😅!! He finally made it back. I knew he was “there” when he was “living in the moment” he and Daniella met! It’s gonna be a showdown! BTW, I’m loving those “It’s a Wonderful Life” references 🤩🤩!!

Oh yes! As Clubber Lang would say, the prediction for this fight is "pain" 😂 I enjoyed how he really felt pain leaving Amanda behind, how in so many other realities they are together, good moment. That was a good reference, there was another one in a different reality. I think Alice in Wonderland or something, on the same movie theater sign.

Another Ryan gets screwed again 😭 Ryan3 is going to be a mental case when he wakes but I can see what Amanda2 said about Jason2 rationalising his motives. Jason2 feels he has done Ryan3 a favour by giving him the future he lost but the issue here is Ryan3 has not prepared for this sudden change of reality to the same extent Jason2 has and he is not as academically accomplished as Ryan. It was good to see detective Mason again. I feel Jason2 has walked into her trap with the selective information she gave him about Ryan being sighted in the industrial area and the lack of cameras. It is obvious Jason2 must have been with Ryan since they were last sighted in the Village Tap. The body language between Jason2 and Daniella when discussing a missing Ryan would have also clued Mason into Jason2's deceptiveness and she could have had the police covertly monitoring the industrial area as Ryan's trail would have ended there. I am happy Amanda2 found her new reality to start over in and it looks Ryan is in the same reality. If they meet he will probably be able to sequence the compound from the ampoules Jason left her with giving him the missing piece of the puzzle to his own compound. Seeing Jason and Amanda2 now understand how to pilot the box, she will also be able to train Ryan on how to navigate the box too. I just hope Blair2 can find an ideal reality for herself but she has a lot of mental recovery ahead the possibility she harbours guilt if she was the reason her present reality got overrun by the giant wasps.

Yeah poor Ryan 😂 I love that guy. Yeah J2 definitely uses that rational for almost everything he does. Like he is really helping them out. He's a heck of a guy 😂

It could be, it seems odd that there are 4 other versions of Jason we haven't seen yet that are traveling the multiverse though. My question would be motivation for an additional Jason and the likelihood 6 of them found this "grain of sand" amongst all the potential places. Butttt who knows maybe there is another 🤔 because a twist 🪢 could be comin!!

There are 3 at minimum they had the same exact clothes on. Jason 2 already has a gun why would he go to a gun shop?

If J² plans on living in that reality then he would need a legal gun. His wife knows about his storage unit, which he will need to most likely clean out and Detective Mason is closing in. Having the same clothes on for me is just a TV way of setting up a who is the real Jason dynamic. It would be more improbable that a 3rd or more Jason's also had the same clothes on ha Im not sure why another Jason would be surprised there is another one of him, why he would run to look for him and why he would be buying a legal gun at all. And he would have had to come in before the box was sealed and stay for a few days. I'm not saying it can't happen, it's a multiverse, but it seems odd that he would even statistically even land in this reality. Well see!!! I love the theory either way 🕵🏻‍♂️

U should also mention that amanda has 2 ampoules so one for her and one Ryan to travel to Jason 1 world so i beleive amanda is gonna help tell which Jason belongs ro world 1

I have that in the video, you're right. Nice catch. I think it was symbolism for there being two people in that reality that need it. Now whether or not they use them or Ryan tries to make more, I dunno.
