Suwisal is a successful, middle-aged supervisor with a melancholic personality and penchant for forgetfulness. His fiancée reminds him daily of appointments, special occasions and routine things, but he is a reluctant husband-to-be and casually sees other women. A man disturbed by something deep and elusive, he tries to stay emotionally stable by suppressing his memories. But when he must serve on a jury at a murder trial, he spirals into the world he thought he had banished. He recognizes the defendant as a woman he knew years ago, a woman with a past.

I love the film style, especially the scenes where we only hear piano music and can't hear the dialogue or singing and some people move about in slow motion. The music is essential in this story. The acting is incredible by all. And the message the fiance gives Suwisal near the end is right on point...even though he did Swarna an injustice, he can never put it right and he may only be trying to ease his conscience. That applies to all of us, doesn't it?
