It's good you go the skull lantern early tbh, I watched a ds1 randomizer, and the player got the skull lantern on Gwyn at the very end of the run xD He had to run around the Tomb of the Giants with nothing.

“Screw the multiple health bars in DS3”. I felt the same way about ER. It was a real slog for me, and there were only a couple bosses I found fun. In contrast to, for example, BB, I found the difficulty lazy, with almost every boss having loads of cheap attacks. Also, having a huge map isn’t a bonus when there is that much reused content.

At around 1:05:00 when he talks about Dragons Dogma 2, There are micro-transactions but none of them are required to enjoy the game and I just don't recommend getting any of them because its standard capcom stuff. There's a chat replay about someone saying you "gotta pay 2 dollars to change your appearance," you CAN pay, but there's items in the game to do that, and theres barber shops but I havent wanted to go to one yet. The game is great and I don't get why people are making a big stink about this and not the Resident Evil games since they have the same type of micro-transactions. It's the equivalent of saying you need to pay money for the exclusive upgrade ticket to upgrade a weapon, its just not true. In Dragons Dogma you get around 10 or so port-crystals and and infinite amount Rift Crystals, Wakestones, Camping kits, gifts, etc. Paying just gets you stuff faster. Don't get me wrong, its still crap that Capcom seems to force their games to have, but it's by no means required or necessary and one of those "you'll ruin the fun of playing the game and waste money buying all this extra stuff" kind of thing. Also, there's one save slot and no way to get more, this is because of the online aspect, you make an NPC that others use and it would be exploitative to even have 2 save slots because of this. If you want to buy anything the only DLC that you should even look at is the Music and Sound Collection and that's not needed either. If anyone is on the fence then don't ever look at the dlc page and try it because you get it all in-game, its just like Resident evil 2, 3, and 4 with their DLC that don't matter.
