I only knew about the Pursuer cheese from watching speedrunners. As an aside, it’s rare, but sometimes you can also get the souls for Pursuer, too, besides just the Boss Soul and Ring. Some of the most grindy speedrunners keep trying to get it, since the extra souls allows them to skip ahead.

@@tonytony8872 normally u would go up the ladder to encounter the pursuer before his main boss fight room, in sotfs. U have to beat him if u die to him he will despawn and u can only fight him in his boss room. Normally, if u would go off the ladder and back to the bonfire he would despawn. But it seems that u can jump on the bricks to spawn him and cheese him so that u can sit down on the bonfire which will kill him for some reason. Thats the cheese but u have to do it fast and the souls arent guaranteed only his soul and the ring of blades.

I have an idea, can you see if flexible sentry can wield warped sword? I found it weird that it’s one of the 3 boss soul weapons for flexile and it can be seen wielding it on certain thumbnails and arts. But it’s never seen wielding it, then I discovered that one of the arced swords get shorter every time the flexile sentry uses the grab attack into blender, or so I think. It makes sense that using that grab blender attack could put a huge strain and twist his sword and the warped sword is a twisted curved sword so theoretically if he lands the grab many times his sword should become the warped sword. Let me know what you think on my theory, and if I got things wrong or mixed up.

You have to be very fast, get to the jump quickly then full sprint back to the bonfire snd rest immediately, if you are too slow he will simply do his dissapearing animation and leave that way

There’s a small window, but it’s possible to be too fast. For consistency, after making the 2nd jump back over the ladder gap, some people pop a lifegem, then run to the bonfire. The lifegem gives a slight delay.

You have to be super fast while doing it else he leaves normally, make sure your full sprint there and back and rest at the bonfire as soon as you can

Alright I got this. So every time you rest at a bonfire, it reloads most of the map around you to refresh enemy locations and breakables and stuff like that. When he jumps from the top of the slope, it gives him enough height to land on that small ledge. He then jumps across the gap as close to the ladder as he can and the height from the jump is enough to hit the trigger that causes the bird to begin his animation of dropping the pursuer on the map. He then quickly sprints back to the bonfire to reload the map before the pursuer can hit the ground. It's unclear if this unloads the floor long enough for him to fall through it and die or if the game is just confused as to his placement when attempting to refresh the map and that kills him.
