I'm not sure why everyone says the black eyed ring gives the Bloodborne rally effect ? To me 'recover HP with successive attacks' means you get some hp back when connecting several hits from a combo, sort of like the butcher knife effect.

He's right. When you play games like this for hours, it's important to keep the blood flowing, specially in legs, where the pressure is lower. Most people who died from playing video games did that mistake, to just stay sit and not move for hours. I suspect it's also related to a bad diet.

More like he's just played enough of Bloodborne, which DS3 is exceedingly similar to in pacing, so it's not really surprising. 3 is simply just not that difficult a game if you play if like Bloodborne and less like Dark Souls, as ironic as that sounds. And also he had played a demo version of the game up to Greatwood, so he's had plenty of practice with the game by the time the game finally came out.

Edit No.2: I just got a third greatsword after opening the shortcut from farrons keep and killing the black knight once...Deprived is actually the best class I feel bad for people who grind this sword for days Holy fuck I must be the luckiest person alive I’m playing ds3 for the first time after playing ds1 for the first time a few weeks ago and I got the black night great sword off of that black night the first time I killed him without a coin The a craziest part is I also got the blacknight great sword in ds1 from the first time I killed the blacknight in the tower I didn’t know how lucky or how good it was In the first game so I didn’t record it but I did the second one (Not live but with the Xbox record what happened feature) I also got the other smaller blacknight sword and the halberd my first play through of ds1 too I didn’t even know what humanity was when I got the first great sword from the night in the tower so I’m pretty sure I had 0 item discovery I guess in ds3 I got it because I started with deprived and had 10 luck which i think is item discovery The deprived blind play through is so good because it really feels like you were thrown into some unknown land and need to use everything you got I went from club to uchigatana to blacknight great sword That and the grass crest shield make me feel like I never left ds1 All the 1 star reviews on Xbox seem to not have had a good of time as I did A lot of people complain it’s too hard but up until I got the great sword sword it wasn’t that hard if you just dodge and be patient I don’t mean to say I got harder I mean it got way easier Edit: MY GOD it just keeps happening I got another blacknight great sword in ds3 from the same knight the first time I killed it today (I wasn’t even trying to grind it I just wanted to go that way before going to the next area to test out the fabled triple hit with only one light attack and one heavy attack by using the wind up on the heavy attack in between) Edit No.3: just got a 4th one after killing it about 5 more times trying to get armor or something else while also farming the dark wraiths on the opposite side Edit No. 4: and there’s 5 after killing it about 3 more times

The Estus refill was interesting (about 1:59:00), you can actually see that, when he wins the battle, the item is in the miniature slot, and it refils when the message that the invader was killed appears. So, anyone already knows how this mechanic works?

I mean, as long as you don't get caught, you still won in a way. Not like it's easy to find people in medieval times. He obviously gets caught eventually, but at least before then, just means he was infamous in his ability to sneak into places and steal shit, despite being a known criminal. That's almost more impressive, I think, to have people on guard and still getting in and out unscathed for the longest time.

And there has been thieves before who like to know that their victims know they're coming, or have already claimed their spoils. Which, again, as long as you actually get away unnoticed, you still completed your objective. A thief isn't always necessarily one who is always a secret infiltrator, but can simply be just one who steals without force or violence at the very least.

That butcher knife is very good for so early on the game. It has A strength scaling and recovers health with each hit, but somehow I missed it and only went to get it after I played 25 hours and I've got a better weapon, heavy longsword +9.

The best wepon I found one handed wise that not a greatsword is the dark sword from the dark wraiths, make it heavy it does way more dmg than the butchers and I believe has an S scaling in strength
