im a little late, but heres the big shit they changed spells look nicer SOME textures look better some also look worse lighting changed, but its worse in some areas fixed some small bugs that were more fun than anything ankles dont follow direction change in a roll you can change resolution and ui size (which a mod did 30 minutes after the game released, so it doesnt matter) and they added one extra bonfire, totally worth it for that alone heres what they didnt fix priscillas game breaking bug where you get locked in her dialogue the stone sword buff glitch is still there the random doors and lifts floating around they unfixed invasions in a very incompetent way. the games dead now, so it doesnt matter, but it was bad. people got twinked hard most of the big time bugs the UI wasnt improved despite really needing it literally anything that should have been changed

Console ports previous to the remaster were 30fps with huge frame dips on a lot of areas like certain bosses and the famed blightotwn being even lower than 30fps. the textures look waaay better as well.

They would just be mad if the Soulsborne games got difficulty modes because they wouldn't be able to lord their supposed accomplishments over others anymore. I've been watching these playthroughs of people struggling to kills Havel and I'm wondering to myself "Why the heck didn't I see this man?" and then at 8:06 I remembered that door. THAT DOOR. When I came to that door in the dark root basin, something was trying to get at me through it and I couldn't unlock it. But I was able to hit Havel through it. I eventually killed him and got some ring or other, but this is the day that I have realized that's how I killed that dude on my first try and why I've never seen him before. It's 'cause I killed him through a door.

14:42 I use this glitch in the great hollow some times; what you’re supposed to do is roll not on the very edge but just close enough to the edge so that you are on your back when he falls off the cliff, this way the game thinks you’re still on the ground and let’s you roll again, you need to roll just before you hit the ground otherwise you die anyways
