Using first gen BT and DAC zen. Built like a tank and sound very nice in my system. Price/performance is very good, and coming from a dutch guy, that is the biggest compliment 😂 full review would be appreciated 👍

The non-Studio Zen lineup is a very fun-sounding stack, makes for a great recommendation if you're not chasing "neutral" sound. Would be curious to hear how these stack up in comparison if you ever get hands on the older siblings; they're plentiful on the used market it seems so may be feasible to get one in on loan.

Zen seem to be top notch in blue tooth stuff. I'd looked into hooking up one of their bt receiver boxes to my hifi, ended up with a cheaper option that has an enhancing effect and works well enough for my needs. Pocket sized so i can plug in sny of my cans and they are bt. As a young school teacher in the 1980s I had to support a colleague teaching sex ed. I'm pretty sure the kids knew more than we did. Not a life experience I'd want to relive. 😂 Nice review. Have a great week.

I must be a nerd. I have Dvd-Audio and SACD. Dark side of the moon on SACD sounds fantastic. 1812 overture with real cannon is..mental.

Yes! zen one studio just a DAC, it doesn’t have amp in.

Nice.! You mentioned about the Bluetooth and the signal coming in needs to have the same specs. (I'm a bit numb on this, but would 32bit float recorder with Bluetooth work for this or no).?

32 bit depth doesn't impact the codec The codec is the algorithm that is used to compress for transfer
