He is an off duty policeman, not a super hero. I'm guessing if he was off duty he did not have any of his equipment like a baton or taser. What do you want him to do against a guy with a knife? hand to hand combat? The isn't a film.

The world we live in...an off duty police officer recording instead calming down the situation, taxi driver leaving the scene instead of getting out of the taxi and helping the boy, young people drinking, taking drugs, and slashing tires for "fun" instead of playing sports for example. Horrible behaviour everywhere. People could and should do better, but they choose not to.

Why was the sister responsible for identifying him & planning the funeral and everything all by herself?? I understand the parents being in bits but that should not have been left on her to do. She was in just as much pain… and she is clearly still very closed off from this. Ugh I feel so bad for her.

Very sad pointless crime. It was unfortunate that the Prosecution were unable to convince the Jury. The Sister to have to verify her brother & organise the funeral at such a young age has to be commended. What an amazing young woman. I hope her parents can pull themselves out of their grieving to support their daughter who has had to do too much. There is still much to live for in loving & supporting those that are still here.

I hope that in Josh's honor that something in that town changed. Some sort of club for young teen men doing some sort of work experience in their liked field. Yes ok he didn't do the right thing but that doesn't mean he had to die. These young men could be fixing cars, fixing farm equipment or something else.

Man it's terrible to live in UK, the father & sister talking about the situation like it's normal like any other night, they were drinking vodka and doing drugs, the sister is aware and everyone seems to know what's going on with these guys, then the victim, where is his mother, where are the killer parents, none of them were shown for a reason in this vide, I don't know why but I just can't even think of living in the UK as an adult, what if I was walking there by accident, they might attack me for no reason, what if they stabbed my car and i see them, what can I do, the police officer off duty is filming, he didn't try to call police, he didn't try to break the fight off, he didn't even try to arrest the gang, in my opinion, the west especially the UK & the US has created the criminals & the community they deserve, this is pay back & it's taking your civilization down.

That boy should have been found guilty of murder. Those jurors must be blind and deaf. That off duty cop did nothing but watch and record. He could have and should have went outside and broke the fight up if nothing else. Even if he didnt know it would go that far as a cop he should have stepped in and broke up the disorderly kids yelling and about to fight. Also i really felt so bad for the daughter having to do what should have been done by the parents. I know they were torn up but so was she and she was only 17 or 18. No parent wants to go through that but i couldnt imagine putting something i couldnt handle as a fully grown adult off on my barely adult child.

Have to do what ya got to do, there's lots of movie's about it. 8 years for murder is typical for the UJK, they love their killers. Usually less than a tenner for a vicious kill, then turn them loose with a bit of biscuits and a pop. BUT, if Josh has any real "loved ones" with bollocks, when that PLANK Dylan got out after his easy Fiver, he'd get enough real justice that maybe Josh could RIP. JS

I feel so sad for Josh's lovely sister, Lucy, as well as his parents. But young guys with nothing more to do with their time, their energy, the skills they may have than to meet up in a football field and drink and do drugs every evening, there is going to be very serious problems. And further, by participating in acts of vandalism on totally innocent folks is going to lead to some form if eventual incarceration. It's all just terribly sad 😔 😢 because young people engaging in these behaviors are severely limiting their own futures and indeed risking their own lives.

the fact is the human mind is not fully developed till about 25 so people especially teens make bad choices because they are not matured enough to rethink things before doing them. drugs alcohol and anger dont mix in a teen body because they are not capable of controled rational thinking .teens hormones rage their body is changing so the attitude is not right in thinking and they do things in the moment especially when not sober.

@@Moodboard39 no, we're not. We are sinners, but evil is a whole different level of sin. Evil is where sociopaths come from. These people are born soulless. You can see it in their eyes, even as babies. I'm a sinner, but not sociopathic. I have also been washed cleaned by the blood of Jesus. People like this person are demonic bloodline. Demons exist. Nephilim/watchers were (are) real. They bred with human women and defiled their bloodline by spawning offspring. That bloodline still exists today. The proof is in these murderers and their families.

We must raise our children properly before letting them out into society. We are to blame when we don't teach our children the right values of life, causing harm to the rest of society. Our children's misbehavior is a reflection on us, a reflection of our defient child-rearing duties. PLEASE LET US DO OUR JOBS AS PARENTS. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THE STRAIGHT EDGE FOR OUT CHILDREN.
