I 100% agree, some people are born evil clearly this one is and should NEVER be released he will kill again the next person he ‘hates”. British legal system is as bad as Australia. As for the brain not “fully formed” yes that’s true but he 100% knew what he was doing and constantly talked about killing her. A child commits an adult crime he gets treated like an adult. He should never be released just like any other “child” killer, he should rot in jail 😡

@@matthewzaffran a life was taken… that “fully developed” Shit only works in my opinion when it’s a little kid. When I was in high school I knew murder was wrong… it’s insulting to every other teen his age to say “their brains aren’t developed enough to understand” because it dismisses the 99% of teens who DO understand. U don’t need a 100% fully developed prefrontal cortex to understand that murder is wrong … you either have empathy or u don’t or u ignore it. It’s a choice…. Maybe one day you’ll experience violence, someone u love taken away by a “child” and see how u feel… (I don’t mean actual child, I mean like a 15 year old, a teenager)

Not one 15 year old had the brains to shout, "Ms McQuire, look out, a knife." Gee eezz! Not one single 15 year old had enough brains to think, "gee eezz what Will is saying is not right." At 15 years of age you are more than old enough to know right from wrong, to know that threats like what William made are totally off the mark and you sure as heck know when someone stands up with a knife in their hand, in the middle of class, something bad is about to happen. Good grief! I can not believe the excuses being made for these kids who didn't have the gumption to at least report his words.

These people are wrong. There is a lot of blame to go around here. First, parents should be closely monitoring what teens are looking at/posting about online. Next, not only didn't the students jump up and try to intervene, they did nothing when he came back to the classroom and sat down & NONE of them ratted him out, like they should have. Then you have the school, well, why do you not have a resource officer there daily? No metal detectors, nothing. Everyone failed that poor woman. Literally everyone.

Do you have teenagers? There is absolutely no way you can monitor 100% of what they do, especially online. They can go to any computer and that kind of helicopter parenting usually just makes things worse. What parents need to do is teach your kids compassion, tolerance and how to treat people with respect. Also spend time with them and actually listen to them. Know who their friends are, have their friends over to the house and create a safe and loving home free from judgement and entitlement. And if there is something serious going on get professional help.

How dare you try and put blame on the parents... do you even have children? Probably not. Do you remember how you and your friends were teenagers?? That's like putting the blame on the teacher herself!! The blame goes to the attacker and the friends that knew about it. Those that watched and did absolutely nothing have to live with that decision the rest of their lives......
@lindseyhudson1274
@lindseyhudson1274 Жыл бұрын
I think that this is what happens when no one in the crowd steps up and stops the offender. There are many cases where someone gets attacked in a classroom and there are students who spring up and become heroes. Also, there are students who do speak up when another student repeatedly threatens a specific person at a school. Any student that saw the knife should have mentioned it to a teacher. I think teenagers are old enough to know that knives don't belong at school. That's a systematic failure of the school.

Parents need to teach their kids what to do and when to do it. If a teen reads posts from a kid talking about hurting or killing themself or others, tell the parent, an older sibling, an aunt, a counselor, a coach, a cop…. You see knives & liquor in a kids backpack especially one who has threatened to hurt or kill a teacher then call your mom if you’re afraid to report it to the principal. WTF?!?!

I was in school a long time ago and back then teachers got away with things they'd be arrested for today, and I don't mean spankings or raps on knuckles. One example, a teacher would shove a student under their desk take off his shoes and make kids sniff his feet with socks on or lick his feet without socks. On the playground we had these big metal trash cans and a teacher would hold a student upside down by their ankles and put them in the trash can and hold them there. Two small examples.. And none of us I don't think even seriously thought of murdering them!? I mean sure we had our fantasies of them having a heart attack but if even that happened we'd be completely freaked out let alone actually murdering them!!?? This kid sounds like he was also misogynistic not able to handle a women being allowed to discipline him. Hope he gets the help he desperately needs because he will be let out someday. And that the families find some peace in life.

I couldn't believe it when my Nephews showed me they were playing this. I talked to them about it and I also said, I would not allow them to have this game. What in the World is going on, when such violence is 'practiced as a game'. Even shows that you could get the character you are playing to get out of your car, and kill pedestrians by punching the, kicking them and then drive down the footpath killing everyone by running the pedestrians over. .. Do you know that was 11 years ago, and that game is still out there and accessable. I just cannot believe it..and people say , Why is this actually happening in Cities. Well answer it yourselves. Acceptable entertainment. I don't bloody think so.
