It was extremely telling to me when Sheila stated “if I wanted to be with Nelson I could have easily divorced my husband”. She’s literally sitting in jail for murdering Annalisa and yet she doesn’t even think about her as Nelson’s partner to this day. Annalisa is not even an afterthought. Imo that tells me that Annalisa was just an obstacle to be removed as far as Sheila is concerned. Piers actually had to remind her that no, if you divorce your husband Nelson still had a partner. That is CRAZY to me! Sheila is sick in the head, despite her level of education and intelligence…she is an absolute danger.

OK, I’m going to play the Devil’s Advocate… 1. Why didn’t the prosecutor show Shelia’s phone records that should have put her at the scene of the crime? 2. Where did the 911 call originate from? 3. Nelson could have been the murderer and here’s why: He could have murdered Anna Lisa, left and went somewhere to take a shower and put clean clothes on, then returned and hid in a boat house nearby. Why wouldn’t he immediately call Anna Lisa to see if she was OK once he saw all of the police cars and ambulances in front of her condo? Why didn’t he ask the police what was going on b/c his girlfriend lived there? The 911 caller did state she saw a MAN leaving the scene. 4. Back to the 911 call… it was never PROVEN to be Shelia. "It kind of sounded like her" doesn’t cut it! Also, WHY would Shelia call 911 alerting the police to go to Anna Lisa’s home when she could have been identified, her car could have also been identified, etc…? 5. I believe the jury became prejudiced against Shelia by many of their remarks stating they believed she thought she was smarter than anyone else. Was this because she WAS extremely intelligent and was a very strong and determined person? *Anyway* I would love to see more of this case and what OTHER factors (besides the ones I just listed) made the jury believe she was 100% guilty without any reasonable doubt. I hope everyone has a very 🎄Merry Christmas 🎁 and a 🎉Happy New Year! 🥂 Love from Texas ♥️🤠🌴
@alicegrace84768 сағат бұрын
I agree, her story and behaviour might be odd, but it's a case based on circumstantial evidence, not foolproof evidence. The points she is making sound reasonable to me at least to the point that this would raise serious doubt. Nelson appears to be shady, yes. In Europe this would have clearly been "in dubio pro reo" and resulted in acquittal.
@johannesheld52538 сағат бұрын
Nice to see people getting in the case. I would state that your opiniton with these so called arguements seems to match a very very small percentage of common people/ jurors/ police. The content of the 911 and all she said during the interview was sensless.

I wish that nowadays they would hand out jail sentences like what she is serving.......cause murderers some get only 15 years and that's sick...

@@ellekay4758 they need larger facilities and rehabilitation centers for folks who can be rehabilitated.

I'm really loving these interviews with killers in prison . Keep up the great work, Piers

It's funny how over years of reminiscing in someone's head they do tell themselves they are innocent because that's the only way they can cope with what they've done and live with themselves.
@alicegrace84768 сағат бұрын
This might apply to narcissists, but not to psychopaths. They feel no remorse, they just don't care. Watch the other interviews of this series, you will see true psychopaths, completely different behaviour. Piers might be wrong here.

The inmate had a parole hearing for the NY case because she served 20 of a 25-year sentence. She will most likely be transferred to Connecticut DOC to begin serving a 50-year sentence.

She wasn't very prepared for this interview. Seemed to make it up as she goes along, I was surprised she was in regular clothes and no guard, how did that happen? I agree, being her own lawyer was foolish. A typical choice from people who think they can outsmart everyone.

So if it wasn't her making the 911 call, who was it? The caller said "her neighbor" was being attacked. That makes for a pretty short list of people that might have made that call, and I'm guessing none of the neighbours' voices matched the caller's voice. I assume they looked into that, but they never discussed it here.

Another great video Piers! It makes me wonder if this woman had any violent tendencies or outbursts in her past. You would think that someone capable of those kind of crimes would have a history. Authorities labeling her a “dangerous woman” is accurate.

Me too ✋️ Every time I see one of these cold blooded killers, liars, and continuing to lie, wearing such a symbol, it just pains me so deeply.

The police should have found out about the affair when the girl was stabbed. Aren't they supposed to investigate that sort of stuff first.

What this first chick is saying doesn’t make any sense at all, first it was a game, then she wanted him to feel how she felt for the beatings that were CONSENSUAL? No she out of her mind

Before she answered most of the questions, she looked to the left. It was so hard to listen to her lie the whole time.

She comes across more actively diabolical than intellectual and that is a frightening combination. She’s empty, numb and without empathy making her capable of anything.

It was an accident the third time she stabbed him. Why did she STILL have the knife in her hand after driving I ask??? No good reason is the answer. And he was still in handcuffs for goodness sake.
