There was a guy in the USA doing pretty much the same thing. He’d inject his victims with a drug and have his way while they died. Then he’d simply drag them outside of his apartment and leave them!!

I find it so strange that according to this, GHB was seen as a 'new drug' in the 2010s, indicating that authorities had seen it around for about ten years but implying that it was uncommon and relatively unknown. I was made aware of GHB and Rohypnol in the mid 90s because they are amongst those most commonly slipped into women's drinks. They had been around for ages at that point. It's a bit concerning that the police were so behind in this knowledge. (It is obviously not the main focus of the case, but still struck me as very odd.)

Homophobia kept this murderer on the streets. Police ignored well founded suspicions of a male ex roommate. I'm sure if women were being killed and the witness had been female there would have been earlier thorough investigation, preventing further murders. ⚖️👎
