“The Hillside Strangler,” Kenneth Bianchi, was a serial killer that terrorized Los Angeles between October 1977 and February 1978. But what cops didn’t know was that he had a killing accomplice-his own cousin!
During this time, Kenneth and his cousin Anthony went on a spree of kidnappings, rapes, and murders in the area and claimed the lives of 10 innocent people. Because the bodies of his victims were usually found on hillsides, the infamous“Hillside Strangler” name was born. When Kenneth was caught in 1979, he ratted out Anthony, and both cousins were sentenced to life in prison

This is not entirely true. Psychopaths were not nurtured by childhood traumas to become the sadistic, unconscionable killers for which they are infamous. They were born this way. It is in their nature to be vicious killers.

James Brown had the same kind of upbringing and saw his mom prostituting & ignored & denied knowing him. James Brown & Richard Pryor too. They came out to be their best. Our best in what they shared w us the gifts that God gave them. so dont use excuses for these guys. Alot of people didnt have a good upbringing.

I can't even begin to imagine how long it would have taken to catch these bastards had Ken made the police force. HELL He could have befriended the detectives and got inside info on the investigation and these two might have been at it for years and not months...God Bless the victims and their familys. Ps I DO BELIEVE the only reason Ken had a woman he was kind too and a baby with her to further cover his tracks after moving from L.A.

I think it is mostly because we hear a lot about them, and the USA has popularized true crime as entertainment. Almost every country has their fair share of evil but it doesn't hit the news especially from non-English speaking countries.

I don't think the USA has more serial killers than any other big country, they are just over represented in the media and they catch more of them. Serial killers are everywhere it's not an American phenomenom.

Investigations to me were abit not serious, they only collected bodies and sat, this number was too much, police dint do much here but sorry for the wife and child, this was a death sentence to me
