@@DAN-wu8fn I just kept the light bulbs stock. They were all lighting so i didn’t see the point of changing them. The two lights for the ashtray and cigarette adapter both burned out.

Thanks, I finished doing all the lights, put a red one in the odometer and looks cool too; also installed daytime lights in the fog lights space. Changed the old stereo and rear speakers wich were making some ugly noises, thanks for the videos, had been of great help.

The T5's for the dash gauges are actually T4.7s (at least this is how they are called in Europe). T5s are a little bigger. Thank you for the videos - helped me a lot!

Great video the LEDs look awesome but I think its missing LE wire across the dashboard and door panels they come in different colors too and easy to install and they are cheap too I think that would give it the finishing touch to your lancer I know because it looks great on an EVO

I checked the links for these LEDs and some of them state they are not compatible with the Mit Lancer. I own a 2004 Mit Lancer ES and this video is very helpful since some of my lights are dead and I would love to replace them or give them a full upgrade using the LEDs

I'm not sure if I'm pulling it incorrectly OR if the unit got corroded/stuck onto the cable. Do you have any tips on how to remove the cable?

briLady7 Yes, look around the plug, you might have to press or pry something before pulling it out. Otherwise, you will have to use force.

how do i know if its bad bulbs im trying to replace it with or if its the electrical stuff for the cluster itself. trying to replace my 02 lancers cluster lights aswell and the bottom service lights all work but the odometer, and all the gauges dont lightup. the old bulbs were definitely dead and burnt to a crisp. but when i used some t5’s i bought they didnt lightup, it got too late before i could test with putting the service lights bulbs in the gauges spot. would that be the best way to test if its the cluster or the bulbs?

If it's LED, try turning the bulb around 180 degree. When it's LED, positive and negative matter.
