Nice vdo ! What do you think about canon cine và zeiss cp3 ? Which one is better?

would have been nice to see what the lenses actually look like, rather than keeping them behind a filter for the whole 5 minute example

if i can only afford one of these lenses, then which camera angle would you recommend?
@walmartpimp23 жыл бұрын
I have the 50mm CP.3 in imperial units with the Sony E mount, and for the time being it’s the only lens I have for my Sony Alpha 7S III. I do a lot of indoor close range stuff and in order to get everything in focus I need to close down the iris to at least T5.6. By closing down the iris I either gotta increase the intensity of my lights or increase the ISO. Sometimes I wish I got the 35mm because it’s easier to keep things in focus with that lens. So for you I’d either go with 35mm or 50mm.

@@walmartpimp2 thanks! Your experience lines up with a lot of what I’ve heard. I had a 20mm on an APSC a while back and I liked the angle which would’ve been equal to 30mm on a full frame sensor. Many people recommend getting to the edge of distortion which is somewhere in that 30-40mm range on FF I think.

@@nick_g So 28mm or 35mm would be ideal for you.

hardly anything left but fanboyism, why? that´s disappointing😞

I thought it was a pretty detailed video thanks heaps for putting your time into this. I am new to all this and keen to learn more so hey Bidpay, Can you explain what you mean. I am looking for objective opinion (that would be your opinion) and not fan boy opinion. Many thanks to both of you

@@travellifesol6084 Because they're not better than the still zeiss lenses in terms of image quality or speed. I would either rent ultra primes or stick with my own still lenses if there's not enough budget. not taking away that it is a well made video and I do appreciate that

@@沈重光-l1p Have you ever shot with still lenses on a real production with a focus puller? They will fucking hate it. I did, it semi-worked out, but it was such a hassle. Cine lenses have very real benefits.
@johannm77942 жыл бұрын
@@沈重光-l1p Absolute Clown comment, still lenses cannot be used in a professional set Environment, even If their Image was perfect. Their Focus through is mostly off and way to short for an AC, Focus breathing etc.
