Just had to add, after watching your suicide squad figure review I was blown away and immediately ordered the whole wave. Honestly I would have like you said Justin this figure to come with alternate head or even omega beam affects since he doesn't need that weapon later in the film when he has his armor on bc he has the omega affect since technically the shirtless one isn't even Darkseid yet hes younger and goes by Uxas so it would make sense he would come with that weapon since he doesnt have his omega affect yet but I guess I'm knit picking lol great review as usual.

It appears the mighty Darkseid has been partying too hard last night and can’t stay up… 😂 The head sculpt and paint look fantastic. And I also agree that the armoured look is much better, shirtless look is badly proportioned. It’s one of those situations where articulation could/should have been sacrificed in favour of looks IMHO. Shirtless Darkseid was decidedly more aggressive and reckless in the film but he wasn’t exactly doing kung fu either. Not a fan of the older Black Series/Marvel Legends-style articulation scheme with painfully obvious pins and robot joints. I wish they’d hide them better. Good one for the price, definitely.

I know the fandom wiki says the movie Darkseid is 8' 9" taller. And I both agree and disagree. I believe the young Darkseid who came first to the earth and warred against the old gods, humans, Amazons and Atlanteans could be of the same height. But the end Darkseid in my opinion is more than 10 ft tall. I mean his whole foot seemed bigger than Steppenwolf's head who was around 8-8.5 ft tall in the movie. So if this is the figure I would use in my ZSJL diorama, I would rather go with the Mezco scale for JL members. The Mcfarlane Steppenwolf is too big even for 7" scale figures.
