This is not a complete playthrough tho... Different players have different pace of playing a game. Having played this game on my own leisure I enjoyed it very well and will play it again on the hardest difficulty with completing all the trophies (achievement if on xbox). This series is so underrated, I hope this game gets the love and support it deserves.

in this game {OLD PATCH} I died almost 1000+ times i was depressed that i completed 75+ games on hard difficulty including dmc series,castlevania series tomb raider series god of war series but pop series metal gear series, RE SERIES and so on why i was unable to complete this game on apocalypse difficulty i am in depression but i wont give up this is me 1st day playing darksiders 3 i completed darksiders 1and 2 on apocalypse and deathiniative difficulty i progresss slowly in game but SOON i will beat this game on apocalypse Can anyone kindly explain what is the problem is i am too noob? did anyone find this game very hard i am very depression because this game makes me think my brain was very poor bad i am very bad very very bad player

Those complaining about the game being "too short"...6 hrs is pretty damn lengthy to me. I prefer a game not to be so long, drawn out or boring. This game is perfect for someone like myself

His deaths are edited out and knows where to go for most of the time. It also looks like its on easy difficulty. So basically it can be between 2 to 3 times as long. But I agree, quality over quantity. Well designed linear over a barren big open world. Replay value over a super long story driven RPG with a lot of cutscenes you will never probably replay again.

If you pay attention to the story she DOESN'T want to rule the other Horsemen, just to be recognised, and she realises this during the events of the game - while confronting Lust she gets furious when Lust makes her brothers kneel to her.

Tbh the game gets from shit to decent halfway through, I mean story-wise. She starts as an edgy selfish asshole but as she gains power she learns how to not be corrupted by it. I wish they at least told us what happened to the Hollow dude, he seems so out of place. The ending we all know, though: Abaddon gets killed by War, Death sacrifices himself in exchange for humanity's restoration, and The Four are brought back to Earth anyway because of the Seventh Seal. Which probably means that the 4th game will be about not only Strife but all Horsemen

Makes sense actually. Each game is copying a popular genre of gaming. The first was a Zelda clone, but a well executed one, so it had a fairly decent length as the quest for redemption is rarely quick. The second game was longer as it was more of an RPG, and the undertaking was longer than War's quest. Righting a terrible wrong and coming to terms with the fact that the Horseman were the reason for everything falling apart. Now, we have Fury, on a quest to find herself. Fury without direction is like Fury in the beginning, mindless and arrogant. But as Fury comes to understand herself more, and the greater truths she blinded herself to, shows her growth. But this is more coming to terms with truths she has ignored, but given Fury is going after so many bosses, the time would need to be shorter. While 6 isn't much, admittedly , I think it actually works out.

Length is just a number like review scores. If you think Darksiders 2 in it's entirety was enjoyable then you are delusional as the game had pacing issues. The game kept throwing similarly looking dungeons at you constantly without a break. Also this video has plenty of cuts, edits and is seemingly set to easy difficulty. So the true length is roughly double.

Honestly, I am fairly certain there is a deeper layer to the plots of the three games, individualized to the protagonists in them.

Anyone know how to reach the area at the hour and 45 mins mark? When he is killed by the large spider and transported? I reach that area but died immediately and went back to vlugrim. I have cleared the area of the sloth boss, i know where he got transported is exactly above the area towards that boss fight but i can't find a way to reach it.. there are purple blockades in some corners so am not sure if i get a method later on to clear them and be able to reach that upper level. If anyone has an idea let me know plz.

yea go to 'tangled grotto ' serpent hole and go left kill the enemies and you should see a puple blockade at the far end you need to destroy that to reach that area... btw did you happen to find the spider again i couldnt

It's not a worst game, but definitely the worst Darksiders yet. The story is bland, bosses are half assed, there's almost nothing added to the combat system (I do appreciate the Hollow upgrades, though). Remember when Death made friends, lost them, awakened a titan only to see it corrupted? How he traveled dimensions, met annoying chancelor in the Kingdom of the Dead, got manipulated into doing their dirty work, killed the Champion of the Arena? He got multiple quests from different sides of all three worlds, talked to Samael, fought him and won, fuck he even met their mother, Lilith! Even though the last boss was a little dissapointing, the story itself was marvelous. The Crowfather, Kharn, corrupted Angels, those were real! Not "appeared from the darkness to give you gifts but simultainously mocking everything you do and telling you to fuck off" kind of characters who bring nothing fresh to the franchise. It looks nice, but gets boring after 3 hours
