For pve this ability is strong too cause if you spec frostscythe it can spread to nearby enemies for some good dot damage (pretty sure you knew that but its still a decent change)

I really hope they keep that ability competitive to some degree (I play casual) since I want to play Kyrian on my frost DK.

Blizz just loves putting me on an emotional roller coaster don't they lol. The ups and downs and ups again since they've announced the return of 2h are incredible. Im glad I have someone I can depend on to guide me through the muddy waters, keep it up.

Nice testing as always man. The Covenants for DKs are starting to mold and imo are powerwise quite close each other, at least in better position when compared to many other classes. Kyrian = Single target for both PvP and PvE Venthyr = AoE especially for PvE and perhaps for BGs Necrolords = Huge utility for PvP and perhaps for solo content Night Fae = PvE especially for M+ and cleave situations Perhaps a little bit tuning but I think DKs in general are starting to be in good position. Of course this is not optimal for everyone if we think the class fantasy and theme, but at least there is options based on what you do most. However, it can be complicated to those who do multiple content, but that is a problem in general with Covenants and not specific for DKs.

is the kyrian ability (Shakle of the unworthy) dispellable in PVP, and are the Phials now usable also in arena? Or is there a downside to that?

I miss WoD frost. Death siphon, Blood presence, Soul reaper burst. I mained dk since wrath but stopped play it in Legion due to pruning and etc. 2h being back looks sick but I'm not sure if I want to main dk again after playing hunter in BFA.

Something that should be talked about is all Warlocks getting "Curse of Weakness - Increases the time between an enemy's attacks by 20% for 2 minutes" and "New PvP Talent: Amplify Curse -Curse of Weakness: Enemy is unable to critically strike". A Frost DK not being able to critically strike for 2 minutes in PvP sounds REALLY bad.

I just stay with maldraxxus all the way with frost 2H. I just love pulling enemies to me, thats a big thing of class fantasy for me... and people always underestimate the fun that comes from class fantasy alone! At least that's my opinion

Also wanted to say that i am not a big fan of a borrowed power effect being like top damage of the class i play 90% of the time, makes every other spell of the vlass feel dull to me

This is 100% getting a nerf LOL. Although the best part about this you don’t have to depend on chill streaks to do most of ur damages lol. It is either more CCs with abom limbs or more burst damages with shackle

Shouldnt realisitically. FDK should be have top damage once in range. Have the worst mobility and defensives.

Mastery because oblitérate do frost damage with a killing machine procks (only unlock at lvl 54 or something els so if you play 2h at pré patch go full versatility build)

Why shouldn't it fit a DK? People misunderstand Covenants it seems. It doesn't matter what class or race you are, it depends entirely on your preferences/your characters past. DKs didn't choose to become what they are. They were risen from death and controlled by the Lich King. You were forced to kill Initiates, civilians and your comrade. Kyrians offer DKs to leave their past behind and move onward.
