As annoying as this guy is the judge is not patient with him because she’s nice. The judge wants to avoid a mistrial or a delay on the trial over technicality. Also, the judge is doing a great job helping him understand some aspects of the law even though she doesn’t have to. But she also does that to avoid a mistrial. Her patience really comes from the fact that this guy will be found guilty. Great job judge keep it up.

at one point she mentioned this has been the most challenging trial of her career due to her catering to his right to self-defense and trying to balance the proper procedures with being lenient where needed for his obvious ignorance on so many things. Yesterday Brooks was arguing about how he can't control the schedule of his witnesses, the judge pointed out that the State and Prosecution has been organizing his witnesses FOR him (which is a courtesy and not an obligation) since he hasn't done any of that himself and again claims ignorance, and if he's not going to do any of the scheduling himself then he has to deal with the order the state schedules his witnesses and they're going to be called in the order that they're listed. He spent like an hour complaining about that alone and complaining of bias.
