Darrell Jesse Moses - Viola Concerto in E minor - Oskar Rieding

So it turns out that one of the instruments that is most made fun of isn't bad at all. Darrell treated us to a viola concerto by Rieding, a rather unpopular composer. Enjoy his performance as you relax today.

This piece, and the composer himself, are new to me. I have now compared several videos played on the viola and on the violin, and prefer it when played on the viola. J.S. Bach is known to have liked the viola, and his Brandenburg Concerto № 6 does not include violins.
