Im thinking the leadership failed the Canucks room. The leader group needed to get their team in line. I think that Hughes is too young and experience as a leader. Hughes is an exceptional player but very lacking in leadership.

My guess is that Miller was hoping after Bo left that he would be the captain and it would be his team. When they went with more of a Linden type, that probably hurt his ego and he seems like a guy who needs to be the centre of attention. His antics in public have shown this. At his best, I like the player, but he's not going to fit in a room where he acts like the captain and other guys don't want to listen because they see the Canucks as Quinn's team.
