i experienced a lot of eye rolling, which indicates a juvenile stage of emotional development. also, lots of pictures with the old tongue sticking out... these people are stuck in the place where their childhood development stopped. its got nothing to do with chemical deficiencies or serotonin uptake, they are essentially children struggling to approximate adult life. if you get involved with them, you will eventually be forced to reconsider the notion of "practice makes perfect".
@n0426 Жыл бұрын
@@Lizpolygigiblissgirl a dark empath is not a narcissist. I think what you encountered is a narc. A narcissist has a late emotional development so they act childish and impulsive . A dark empath is much wiser as it requires emotional intelligence to know when to go dark on someone.

In your description of dark empaths, it sounds like they have emotional intelligence and can recognize different emotions in others; but instead of feeling the emotion --they just put on an appropriate `'act" to get the response they want. The more I understand empathy, the more it sounds like emotional intelligence and the ability to feel/recognize one's own emotions. (And we have a lot of different emotions, both positive and negative). I think a true empath can actually feel what another is feeling, not just reflect.

Sometimes, feeling things so deeply can change you. Sometimes one has to force a psychopathic personality in order to deal with everyday reality. However, that empath is still deep In our core... Wound up like a rubber band ball at the bottom of the sea. Psychopaths are scary because they don't feel... Empaths are scary when they turn to darkness. It's like starwars.. We go fricken insane and get that Intoxicating taste of hate and revenge. It's not good.. especially if you're intelligent. K idk why Im hear. Not feeding the monster anymore.. Love others. It wasn't everyone who hurt you. It was Nope can't go there either

Narcissists do have cognitive empathy, they utilise it for their aims, BPD even have affective empathy yet can flip into dissociative sadistic states. So the label Dark Empath seems surplus to requirement- it’s just narcissistic traits, and often (as the comments section illustrates) in people who want to justify their traits to themselves as ‘protective’.. Which is exactly what narcs do- justify their attacks. Narcissism is on a spectrum, everyone has some traits, don’t let someone drag you down to their level and push you further up the scale towards vindictiveness. Fighting with them just gives them more attention.

Im in a place that is a bit messy, im quite confused, but I think u describe my mother here. Although I'm not sure it isn't me, or both of us? We have not spoken in 2 months. People think I am horrible and at fault, but they don't know the truth, I know what she has done is wrong, yet I still feel guilty. I dont want my life like that anymore but I'm not sure im not in the wrong to do so
@officialpsychicloungetv2 жыл бұрын
Well when one of you dies there will be no more chances to heal either yourself or your mother Get off the pride wagon and fix it if she is willing to meet you half way if that doesn't happen at least you know you tried to mend things with her. Unfortunately you will wake up one morning and see her image starring back at you.... That is the BIGGEST SHOCK. Be impeccable with your words and do not procrastinate if you don't do it; it is most certain that you will have regrets.
@Langolin19982 жыл бұрын
Same. You tend to feel guilty for trying to separate yourself from the toxic, narcissistic person, especially a mother, but it really is the right thing to do. All my elderly mother’s church friends think I’m a horrible daughter…horrible person. She talks horribly about me…gossiping, lying and confabulating, yet she is the emotional and mentally abusive one. Poor put upon mother! I feel sick, every day of my life, due to her destructive behaviors aimed at destroying me, and the guilt I’ll feel from not wanting to be around her!!!

We can make up any category we wish with these human traits of ours. What he is talking about is manipulation, which any human can do. There is more to this simple pop psychology in understanding unconscious intentions, lacanian enjoyment, and other areas of normal psychological development within culture and society. I think a lot of this classification really applies to a spectrum that every single person can fit into, and which is what makes this audience capture and incessant videos another example of said narcissism. it's very possible, I'm wrong, but the amount of true narcissism and manipulation is based upon the current cultures and desires we have...
