I bought the avata 2 last week and took it for a spin this past weekend. It was remarkably easy to operate (though I haven't ventured into sport mode yet) and it is so much fun to play with. I can't find a single flaw with how it operates. It's quiet (for drones) and blowwsss my mind with the clarity. Be sure to check out pro tips on how to set your video settings. I followed a tiktok video direction and there was a noticeable difference in quality. Highly, highly recommended. Great video man!!

I it is unfortunate that DJI was not able to somehow interface the contoller with the practice app. That would be an incredible game changer and greatly increase the pre flight skills of a newbee.

Okay, you’re helping make the upcoming weekend even longer! LOL My Avata 2 is due on Monday or Tuesday, so though you usually want weekends to last longer, this time is different! My main issue is having to have an observer even in areas where there aren’t people, and I’m flying low to not worry about other aircraft. Think my first times to learn the controls will be indoors. Thanks for all the tips! Will be watching them all again for MY unboxing! OMG, not being very patient!🇺🇸

Hello, I want to ask a question. I bought controller 3 today. But I want to use my drone not in manual mode, but only with this controller because I'm used to mini 4 pro. I wonder if I can flip and acro in S and N modes without manual mode?

People keep saying “first learn with the motion controller” and when you have some experience go with the controller 3. The motion controller is not even close to the feeling of the controller 3 so on the controller side you wont learn anything if you “mastered” the MC. I have flown 200kmh drones and when i started I practiced a mode then limited the yaw and spin, that same day i started to notice it was holding me down. I turned it to manual and i flew away with that drone with ease. Get used to the controls should take an hour and put it on manual as fast as possible so you dont get used to the help modes it will hold you back.

Most drones won't hover after you "Break" them. You usually have to "Brake" them, and then hover. Fun little site to fly FPV.

Horizon lock was turned off which gives a more realistic fpv look but it was actually pretty windy so it’s hard to counter the wind when using the motion controller

Ahhh. Man this makes me want an Avatar 2 sooo bad but I only bought my mini 4 pro in February my wife would kill me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, what's it like in fpv if you suffer from travel sickness? I do get it fairly bad so that's always put me off fpv
