Darth Vader. Yoda. Luke Skywalker. Emperor Palpatine.
These are four of the greatest Force Users in all of Star Wars, and at their best, each one of them can make a pretty strong case for the most powerful being in all the galaxy.
And today, well we’re gonna put that to the test! Using each of these characters in their primes, and including Expanded Universe lore, not just the new Disney Canon, we’re gonna see which one of these 4 fighters comes out on top in an all-out battle royale. Who really is the strongest of them all? Well lets get to it!

Mace Windu was specifically a bad opponent for Palpatine. He isn't more powerful, but his style uses the power of the dark side against the enemy. The stronger they are in the dark side, the more effective Windu is at fighting them. It's like how some enemies in RPG's regain health if you use the wrong elemental attack on them; so if you use the strongest water attack against something that heals from water, all it does is heal them more.

@@xxan84 After he was disarmed and claimed to be "too weak" yeah that was him pretending to convert Anakin, but everything before that was Mace beating him. George even confirmed Mace won the Lightsaber duel, and I don't think Sidious could pretend to be weak during the lightsaber duel since that could have cost him his life considering how good Mace was doing against him and the fact they were both fighting and moving so intensely they seemed to be moving in and out of reality.

Vader at his prime is Suited Vader as his powers, force abilities, mastery, dueling prowess, overall abilities, strength, stamina, durability, and after 3 months in the suit he was able to perform acrobatic feats on the level of his former self as Suited Vader. And has more overall knowledge in the force as he was granted all of Sidious Teaching including the Book of the Sith(The Secrets of the Dark Side Collected into a Book form) His duel on Mustafar he was at the lowest power, he was conflicted insanely. And he mastered the force while in the Suit. And yes, Anakin Skywalker was the most powerful Jedi of his generation and of any generation. Besting 2 Force Gods making him as Anakin Skywalker insanely strong in the force. Stronger than Luke as Luke is stated to be 12 times Weaker than Abeloth in terms of Power. And Anakin Besting both Force Gods that are instrumental in the imprisonment of Abeloth (they refuse to kill her because she is their mother) makes him 12 times stronger than Luke (And Yes, I'm referring to GM Luke) in the force via comparison. But As Anakin Skywalker/MFV/KFV he doesn't have the Control that Vader has. Yet again you fail to Understand that Vader in his prime is Suited Vader. His limbs were not the problem, it was the psychological damage that Vader suffered that limited his potential. And Luke had actually never seen Vader's true power, who is stated even while severely nerfed in ROTJ would be able to easily beat Sidious. And Vader is always severely conflicted during his duels with Luke, even if you say that his resolve in the dark side was strengthened between ESB and ROTJ. He is conflicted during the ROTJ Duel.

It's just like what we're going through in Dragonball right now: Gohan was like 1/50th as strong as goku and Vegeta 3 arcs ago. Since then goku and Vegeta got 2 new forms and new hax and then get one shot by Frieza at the same time. Then in the movie gohan was literally slacking off and gets a new form. And the author Akira Toriyama says "gohan is the strongest character right now" like how the fuck would it make sense for him to be stronger. Everyone wants to call death of the author because it makes 0 sense for him to be stronger than Goku Vegeta and Frieza, but if he says he is, we can't really do anything about it. Tldr: authors say dumb shit from t2t and honestly we can't do anything about it because the author can literally just make a new chapter and make it canon

12:14 No he wouldn't, Obi Wan only got the best of Anakin because as stated in the ROTS novelization. Both warriors after thousands of hours sparring with each other new each other front and back like they were 2 halves of the same whole. While Yoda having taught Anakin as a young Padawan (as well as Mace Windu teaching Young Skywalker) has none of the intimate knowledge on Anakin that Obi Wan did. And Anakin would only hate Yoda more, as he was conflicted severely on Mustafar regarding killing his best friend Obi wan. But Yoda being nothing, but an oppressor of Anakin Skywalker an outright denier giving of the only thing that could save the life of his wife, would give him a considerable Rage amp. And though Yoda is called Wise throughout ROTJ and ESB he talks with Luke and tells him he is not Ready. And Luke goes anyway, which might make you say Luke was being rash. Well Yoda was wrong in ESB and ROTJ and his wisdom proved to be nothing but the fear mongering the Jedi say they never perpetuate.

This is an interesting question. At their most powerful, Yoda would be the weakest one of the four in Canon and Legends, both in power and lightsaber skill. The most powerful here would be Luke and Vader and Palpatine. In the realm of Legends, Luke is the most powerful here. In terms of Canon, Vader is arguably the most powerful character here. Either way, whoever would win the fight, it would only be done with extreme difficulty.

Really Palpatine is a pinnacle of the sith and Yoda bein a pinnacle of the force, but neither are as powerful as Luke and Vader. Hell Anakin turned to Vader and given robot parts only because Palpatine feared his power and Luke rose to his fathers potential in power and I think it would go down to Yoda and Luke in a fight

Nor was Windu about to win, and in actual fact, he was about to lose the lightning exchange, per the novelization, which we also obviously know Sidious purposefully threw to play possum. Ergo, he was about to win.

And not like he can destroy the mountain; no, he just creates enough kinetic energy with the force to move the mountain. He's weaker than Mace Windu, and is only Grandmaster as he was the oldest Jedi Master on the Council from the High Republic (80-200 years before Prequel Era) to the Low Republic (Prequel Era) And it's stated that Yoda has a good mastery in the light side of the force, but his real ability is not in his force power. But his ability to draw upon the force, which seems to be a genetic trait among his species as we see Grogu do the same on the drained of life planet of Mandalore(having less life on a planet reduces the amount of Force that is in the planet)

If we throw legends into this then like stomps. If it’s canon, then I think sidious stands a pretty good chance. Yoda I think loses the most here with his low stamina against 3 people. I also think Vader in his suit doesn’t have a great chance with sidious running around with his force lightning, especially with Luke and yoda being able to redirect it.

Haven’t watched the video yet but of course Luke got the strongest. I’m pretty sure Luke’s potential was around 80% of Anakins who didn’t even get close and lost over 50% of his power/ potential after losing his to Kenobi and losing all his limbs, getting 3rd to 4th degree burns and losing his ability to breathe with his suit. So Luke ended up being the strongest and it’s not close
