I think Anakin wins after a very long fight, Maul is more vicious and experienced with the lightsaber, I think they’re both equally skilled but Anakin should be smarter and stronger with The Force. Anakin takes it high diff 7/10.

Anakin beat Dooku in straight lightsaber dueling. Dooku was one of the best lightsaber duelists in the order. Only Windu and Yoda were considered superior.

Anakin has more potential, Maul has more training But I think a good way to settle the scores is to see how they face off against Obi; as they have very aggressive fighting styles whereas Obi's is primarily defensive. Maul and Obi are usually up and down. Sometimes Maul gets the upper hand, sometimes it's Obi, just out of luck. With Anakin, however, Obi had a much greater challenge and it was pretty much evenly matched

Maul was winning fights with a weakened Obiwan in Season 4. In Season 5, Obiwan took on both him and Savage and cooked them. Obiwan is honestly superior to Maul. Even Ahsoka says Anakin would have cooked him. Wish we could have seen it though.

For all of the "Maul is weak in the force" guys, it was stated that his potential was higher than Sidious', combine that with a dathomirian origin, that is far away from "weak in the force". He even was a "lost to Sidious" and powerful enough to rip eyes, bones or pulverize a person by looking at him/her (also in the comics). The only reason Sidious won against Maul in CW was because he was a spider for 13 years and had 4 times different legs while having gone INSANE. After the duel even Palps avoided any confrontation...

I think Anakin would have won but Maul would have made him work for it. Maul is no slouch, and would have given Anakin a hell of a challenge. You also have to remember when Maul fought Ahsoka, his intentions were not to kill her. So all things considered he wasn't fighting to his full potential, and he still managed to disarm her...twice. If he was serious, good bye Ahsoka.

Top 3 Jedi before Dooku left were Yoda, Windu, and Dooku in that order. Windu was the most powerful directly though. Sidious was supposed to be equal to Yoda. Inferior to Windu in power but superior in wisdom and experience. Dooku was inferior to Sidious all around. Anakin was not more powerful than Windu at any point prior to him becoming Vader. I believe by the time he fell to the dark side, he was not powerful enough to beat Yoda, Windu, or Sidious.

99% of the time Danco is right on the money. However, this time, the power level spectrum is a bit off. Due to many consistent inconsistencies within the lore of the Star Wars canon. The reality is Anakin Skywalker with mud stump Darth Vader, this is backed up entirely by the canon of the lore within the Star Wars timeline, adventures and feats along with dialogue supporting various feats of such characters. In Star Wars episode won the Phantom Menace Jedi apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi was a Level 6 High Tier Lightsaber Master Duelist. By the end of the movie he leveled up to a level seven low tier. This was equal to his fallen Jedi Master Qui-gon Jinn. This is also the same level Darth Maul was as well. Through his rage boost Obi-Wan Kenobi was able to equal Darth Maul‘s Level. But that rage booth only lasted for a short time. Before right now. This is why Darth Maul was able to get the better of Kenobi. Being one with the force in that moment Canobie was able to level up back to a seven and catch more offguard in a flawless victory. Master Yoda is a High Tier Level 9 Master Lightsaber Duelist. Jedi Master Mace Windu is on the same level, quite possibly a mid tier level 9. With the use of Vapaad, Windu is easily a Level 9 High Tier Master Lightsaber Duelist. Emperor Palpa teen is also a level nine high tier Master Lightsaber Duelist. Anakin Skywalker in the light side of the forest is a level 8 High Tier Lightsaber Master Duelist. It is only when he uses the Darkside of the force the Anakin jumps to a level nine low tier Master Lightsaber Duelist. There are three tiers of power within each level one through nine. Low Tier, Mid Tier & High Tier. George Lucas did state mace window to be a level eight light saber master duelist, the reason why this is flawed from the start is cuz Mace Windu is stronger than obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Who are technically equals more or less. The reason why this is Miss guided and confusing, it creates a big disconnect because Jedi master mace window seats are of a level nine master light saber duelist. George Lucas specifically put mace will you add a level eight to show his inferiority to Master Yoda. But this was not preplanned for the destiny of the fights in the elevation and evolution the fights took place. This is become the topic of dialogue and statements versus feats. Only when dialogue statements and feats correlate are they in fact true, otherwise they can’t be checked or negated or red card due to various feet within the timeline canon a Star Wars episode one through six. Episode seven through nine or non-canon in my book and in the vast majority of Star Wars fans. For obvious reasons and other not so obvious reasons, I enjoyed the films for what they were entertainment but not much more than that. Anakin Skywalker is a beginner at level nine, he has not gained complete mastery at that level. Essentially he is a level nine novice at best. Dialogue in Star Wars episode three revenge of the Sith is revealed to be 100% true statement backed by feats of said Yoda and mace. Yoda says to Obi-Wan Kenobi strong enough to fight the emperor you are not. He’s basically telling Obi-Wan Kenobi Palpa teen is far too strong for him to even try to engage the outcome of his death would be certain. Yelled at then encourages Kenobi to find Skywalker. I’ll be one makes excuses not to find him, but he only gives the final answer which is completely irrefutable.. Yoda & Mace Windu we’re the only 2 Jedi in the entire order who could take on and legitimately had the power to defeat Darth Sidious. In revenge of the Sith Obi-Wan Kenobi is a High Tier Level 8 Lightsaber Master Duelist. This is interesting considering he is now equal to count Dooku. Whereas in one movie prior three years previously, Kenobi was only a Level seven high tier. Being completely outmatched by count Dooku on every level in the spectrum of fighting, force abilities & lightsaber dueling. In revenge of the Sith he is equal to count Dooku, but due to the writing narrative Kenobi looks inferior to count Dooku in order to give Anakin greater outcome in beating Dooku. It is only unfortunate that they wrote Kenobi to be inferior somewhat in his level of ability in execution to upscale Anakin where is more or less Anakin and Obi-Wan are equals to Duke in the light side of the force. However Anakin crosses a new level of power which completely obliterate count Dooku to the Darkside as a level nine versus a level eight. This is why Aniken was able to completely overwhelm count Dooku who was already a world class stronger than Darth Maul. The further we go along it’s easier to see what’s happening. Darth Maul Level 7, Count Dooku Level 8, Anakin Skywalker Level 8, with the Darkside he becomes a Level 9. Because Master Yoda descriptively spoke about Power Scaling in regards to Kenobi Skywalker himself and the emperor just let us now who is the strongest, and the difference between the various levels of these characters. Anakin Skywalker might stop start mall without a prayer of a chance of Darth Maul ever having a victory. It’s unfortunate that maul’s life is cursed to nothing but defeat against major players, I wanted something more for him but it’s just not in the destiny of the force. I love these characters their adventures, powers going, they are feats of strength and weaknesses and interactions between other characters because it’s what makes this franchise so lovable so grand so beyond life and humble at the same time.

Anakin has force and power. Maul has skill and speed. Its really hard to say can't wait for the video. Maul had beat Qui-gon and a young Obi-wan. Obi got a cheap shot in and Maul was being too cocky. He fights Obi in his prime a few times and sometimes he gets the better of him and sometimes Obi got the best. Obi beat Anakin after he turned to the dark side aka a stronger version of Anakin. Anakin did beat Dooku after using rage from seeing Obi hurt. So I'd say Maul wins in a straight fight and Anakin wins if there's a specific situation to bring the Dark side out and even that is arguable. Maul also had a hallway scene without a Saber against clones. Anakin struggled against Baress and Maul struggled against Ahsoka but Maul was trying to get her to join him and again that was a situation/environment win. Sidious also considered Maul as a rival and threat. There's so much in this fight. Anakin seems more likely to win whenever he taps into the darkside and Maul typically loses when he's in situations or environments that his opponents also use against him except Sidious who is the strongest Sith of all time so yeah

His unstability combined with his power made the order worried and distrust him. Thats literally a plot point of ROTS. Im talking about anakin already lol, he was beating obi wans ass. He only lost at the end cuz on Mustafar, obi wan gained a huge amp by letting everything that held him back go (this amp made him much stronger than maul), and anakin was mentally hindered due to the shit he lived for the whole week. In what world did Anakin struggle against Bariss, and in what world did Maul struggle against Ahsoka? Anakin rolled Bariss easily and Maul was dominating the fight with Ahsoka until the very end, and he only lost because he didn't want to hurt her and instead wanted her to join him. You have the outcome backwards, honestly. Anakin wins every time unless there's a way for Maul to completely give in to all his rage. Even then, Anakin wins probably 5/10 or 6/10 times. You are severely underrating Anakin here. The only characters of the Clone Wars era who could reliably beat ROTS Anakin in more than 5/10 duels are Mace Windu, Yoda, and Sidious.

However Anakin has more raw power so it really depends on the factors, both are pretty arrogant however Anakin's arrogance can also be implied to be recklessness and if he gets too reckless Maul will take the win with ease, but if Anakin plays his cards right he could take the W.

Anakin easily. Watch his fight with Obi Wan, then watch Obi Wans fight with Maul and Savage. Obi Wan beat Maul and Savage in a 2v1 whereas Anakin only lost to Obi Wan because he was arrogant and wanted to kill Obi Wan with the same move that Kenobi used to cut Maul in half. Anakin could beat Maul and Savage in a 2v1 just like Obi Wan did.
