the "Alien Planet" Movie/Documentary doesn't show anything about the planet. when you see the paintings, You see more details. They didn't have enough money to show every detail of the planet

We demand a remake of Alien Planet, the whole planet with HD graphics and audio that will surely kick Netflix's Alien Worlds ass.

You will notice that not all the creatures in the book have bio lights. There were a few that i saw that didn't have bio lights. Like at 1:21, 2:00 and 2:45. So it looks like a majority of life on Darwin IV uses bio lights and others don't. Now correct me if i'm wrong on that, but it just looked like a few of them don't have any bio lights. I mean they use sonar to navigate and i know Wayne wouldn't give them bio lights if he had a big reason for them. I'm just curious, and that's the thing. These creatures are mysterious and fascinating that you want to find out more about them, all the way down to the smallest detail.

Theres litterally gigantic monstrous aliens that could easily crush your bones by simply stepping on you. And theres too much oxygen on the planet. You see, oxygen in vast amounts, can be very poisonous for us. Unless I am wrong that is, someone else said that too much oxygen can kill us.

It also seems to be a dying planet...water is scarce and becoming scarcer...the Amoebic Sea with its "plastic wrap coating" is interesting...I guess it must have evolved in a smaller body of water, where a random mutation over a small area could give it selective advantage (cover the whole body) and found its way to the last large ocean, fortunately for the planet.

@@er1chawk I disagree. Darwin IV got large ice caps in north and south poles, massive lakes and rivers see from space and ice shields on mountains. There is clearly more fresh water than on earth continents. If planet hasn't got oceans it will only affect on climate. Life forms on this planet is adapted to survive in this climate millions years ago.

Darwin IV is a fictional planet that was the subject of Wayne Barlowe's book Expedition and the television special, Alien Planet, based on Expedition. Although the details of the discovery and exploration of Darwin IV differ in the two presentations, both are essentially the same in their depiction of the planetary environment and its native life-forms, whose abundance and variety prompt the name Darwin.

Well we in every planet that supports life, creatures evolve differently in other planets. Like animals on earth evolved in to their habitat for they can live easily . Eyes to see legs to walk ears to hear mouth to eat and nose to breathe. But on different planets like Darwin 4, things are different, yet there still somethings that are in common on earth and on Darwin 4, but they look different because they evolved into their habitat. And habitats in Darwin 4 are a bit different from earth. They actually don't know how the creatures look like but they tried their best to guess.
