Thank you for posting! I love the idea of the mug cake being used as well! I only want ONE small cake and the cookbook's recipes make 4-6 cakes (I believe). I was very disappointed that the Dash kitchen didn't include any recipes just for one cake. So this mug cake thing might be just what I need. I would've never thought of it, so thank you so much for trying it out!!

I have one I love it too. I never put oil and I simply clean it by spraying a little water while still hot and just wipe with a paper towel and thats it 😊

Thanks for the tip on the mug cake mixes at Aldi's. I tried a microwave mug cake mix once, a different brand, and it was a disaster. I like this idea much better. Plus your mixing it in a handled measuring cup is genius. Much more stable to grip than a slippery stainless steel mixing bowl. I will definitely look for one of these mini bundt makers. Thanks for the video demo.

I’d like to suggest you get a least one small spatula - that would ensure you are able to get all the batter into the Bundt maker by scraping the insides of the bowl/cup.

Glad you finally got your hands on one. I tried one mug cake recipe with apples in it and it was a disaster. It was a soupy mess and the edges started to burn. I just scooped it out and ate it. Maybe I'll try another recipe. I'll look for those little mixes at Aldi.

A spatula helps scraping out batter. You would actually get more batter.

I use a silicone basting brush and pure virgin coconut oil. I don’t use the sprays.
