I noticed once installed .. during a stoppage.. I cannot use rearview with my TX.. not the mirror .. the main screen

Have you reached out to fitcamx? I have no issues with my digital rearview mirror after installation

@@lsft it’s not the rearview mirror .. it’s the stop/turning camera that’s changed! I remember being able to switch back and forth with front and rear while stopping .. now I can only see the front

@@thaivo5281 oh. You should check the settings. At a stop press the camera button and on the side you should see a place to change it to auto

@@lsft I did.. but there’s also an icon to switch back and forth.. typically I can see both, but now only front view

I can do a quick video on how to remove the shifter knob. I don't have the crystal gear shifter to show how to install it, but I think once it's removed you know how to put the shifter knob in.

As I have a fitcam it is 4k if it is just the front cam if you have a front and rear cam the front cam is onlt a little over 2k and the rear is 1080. I think it is a recording limit more than a cam problem.

Neither of these dash cameras is good. In 2024, a good dash cam should have these features: Sony Starvis 2 with IMX67* image sensor Support 5G Wi-Fi Super capacitor as “battery “ Support 512Gb micro SD GPS Multiple channels recording available Good app …………

Depends how much you are willing to pay. The Lexus one for sure is not worth it

Yes - the output is 4k, does not mean the camera sensor is 4K. It can't be upscaled to 4K. That is what some ppl say about the fitcamx. But it does not matter for me as the fitcamx is his enough for my needs

@@timyuan1948 the fitcam has one feature that no one that I could find in that it looks like it came on the car from Lexus. All the other cams look like they are extra not builtin. The price was not too bad and all the others look added on.
