Catalyst consists of several categories of preset-styles, ranging from complex or automatic transition making racks to Creative Effects and Filters, Glitchy-Mangling Mayhem and even some mixing templates.
The collection of Transition presets is designed to take boring loops to the next level, The Filters and Creative Effects are designed both as creative starting points for your Phase Plant patches or interesting ways of processing your external audio loops and plugins.

What I love about this pack is it has so many useful tools for just pushing creative blockers out of the way. For example.. it lets me make a kick and bass, and not get stuck in a tweak-loop that kills inspiration. Instead throw an effect on to my bass, perc, master tracks, tweak for 20 seconds, and get back to arranging. Then the creativity presets are also absolute top-drawer quality that I couldn't hope to work out, or even think of on my own. the other great thing about this, is the corresponding top 50 tips video Dash released a couple days back. Professional-tier training on how to use the kilohearts eco system. Some of it I already knew but wow. Such a great video. For free! it also speaks volumes about how great the kilohearts software is. it's so simple to go in to any of Dash's presets and tweak, alter, and learn something along the way and come out the other end having created a new sound.

Checking out the demo sounds and they are impressive!!! I noticed the two pad sounds are super CPU intensive even on my setup which is fairly high end. What do you find in a phaseplant patch causes CPU burn? Is it the unison voices?

Yea it's the poly FX, those patches were designed with the unison voicing and poly FX, so they are pretty full with a single note, if you want to do chords etc, try turn down the voices or turn the poly FX off :)

Hey, thanks for the great pack I'm looking forward to using it. I'm just having one issue - when I drag the .bank files into Phase Plant, the "Drop to install Sound Bank" message appears, however when I let go of the mouse I don't get the Install/confirmation message box afterwards it just goes back to normal (how it way before) without doing anything. Have you encountered this before? Am I missing something? Appreciate any help 🙌🙌

@@DashGlitch Yeah I'm fully updated and tried in both. Only thing I can see is the Kilohearts Installer says I'm running an "older, unsupported operating system" - I'm on Catalina 10.15.7 - is that too old? I'd find it odd as everything else in Phase Plant seems to work. I also manually tried "add location" in the Snap Heap browser but the .bank files are greyed out

The installation of the demo pack does not work. SnapHeap show the installation dialog, but does not install the pack after confirmation
