LOVEBITES, with the new formation welcoming the new bassist "Fami", will release its fourth original album on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The limited editions A and B will have a documentary video of the auditions including an interview with the band on the day of the bassist auditions and an interview with Fami, who was still one of the finalists then. They will also include the four full studio sessions of "The Hammer Of Wrath," "Golden Destination," and "Shadowmaker," as well as "Bravehearted," the first song the five members played together after Fami joined the band.

@@DavidGatson I’m going to assume you aren’t familiar with either then. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Open your mind, broaden your Horizons - even LOVEBITES would admit Aldious stomp all over their catalogue and sales, Band-Maid have had more success worldwide and that Saki, Hazuki and Narumi are all very much their peers - and friends! There is no “best” and it makes for a better genre that they have peers - for us and them.

I love the part in this video where they play each other's instruments. The part where they are all together and snapping their fingers reminds me of Motown groups in the 60s as well, just having fun with their music. This album is phenomenal from beginning to end, not one bad song.

There are drum session videos here on youtube. Lovebites' music and live shows are a breath of fresh air in the world of Metal music, in my opinion. And boy, do they come through. How many well-established bands did Lovebites overtake by now? I stopped counting. "Metal, re-invented". Unbelievable. Who should want to follow this band on stage? They will definitely get a place in music history - like Bach, Vivaldi, Paganini, The Beatles, Queen, AC/DC. Stay positive, stay tuned! 😊🐺

Well done, believe the band reference you're looking for is Motorhead. I hear a little 90s Metallica (Garage Days Revisited era) in there as well. These ladies are my favorite band of all time, having grown up on 80s / NWOBHM music so they certainly resonate. The instrument-switch was just playing around for the video. All musicians are elite and Miyako could certainly play drums I'm sure. Whether you watch studio, MV, or live...it's all precision, but you should take in a live video at some point. Please continue to support LOVEBITES. 【From an interview with Asami(Vo) and Fami(Ba) for a magazine project in Japan】 When Covid19 subsided and the audience was able to speak up, Asami thought it would be nice to have a song that everyone could sing, both on stage and in the audience. Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus. Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means. For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult. From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver. "Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!" Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king. Asami wanted to avoid that. Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver. Asami uses "Stand and deliver" with the following interpretation and meaning. Stand up and be free! Rise up and be free! Arise and be free! Let's get up and be free! From there, Asami put the following thoughts into the lyrics. Nothing satisfies me. It's boring to be like this every day! Let's go more bouncy! Let's be bold and do something different! Let's break out of our shell! P.S. The mic stand setting that Miyako(G-Piano-Black hair) used was too high for Asami(Vo). Asami is very cute. They exchanged instruments and were playing.

The main riff in "Break the Wall" is definitely Testament-influenced. Just listen to Testament's song "Over the Wall" from their debut "The Legacy"! (This was my favourite Thrash Metal album in 1987.)

I am a new subscriber as of today. You set things up for the recording and sharing perfectly, your sound was loud enough to be heard, but just barely, maybe two more points on the knob, and you paused the video when you had a comment to share. And even more, you backed up a shade to just before the pause for commentary. One of my pet peeves with other reactors is talking over the video or music they are reacting to, and not realizing that their inattention for even a moment can cause them to miss an important moment. THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS PERFECTLY. Now, for a recommendation: Gacharic Spin, a Japanese all-female band, (Doll$Boxx, is a sister/daughter project) their original lead singer (ARRMY (AH-Mee) passed away in 2015, she had gotten better and even returned to the stage for a very short time and it was a HUGE loss. Now they have a new front-woman, Angelina 1/3? (Angie) who started with the band at 17. Angie's debut is in their video for "Mindset" and she looks and sounds so much like Arrmy, they could have been related (opinion). Everyone on the stage sings and everyone is a part of the show. Tomo-Zo is the cutie on the far right shredding the guitar. Hana (plays everything, but drums and guitar are the most often seen)... I could go on forever, but I STRONGLY urge you to watch them, you'll get a workout from your chair, these ladies are energy personified.

listen to the song The Crusade it got a very huge Iron Maiden influence to that song. but thats because the band loves iron maiden lol. But miyakop pretty much wrote that song for the old bassist Miho who left the band for personal reasons. the bassist you see now is Fami the new bass player. If you listen to the song The Crusade you see Miho playing the bass. Miho and Haruna (the Drummer) founded this band. they used to be part of the band Destrose. All female japanese band as well very good also. So Miho and Haruna formed lovebites. The drum kit you see is different then live. live she got Stars symbols as well just for show. but she brought that over from Destrose. Anyway nice reaction.

Was not really awake when i wrote this song haha. But yeah the Crusade is something you will definitely like then. I am not that much of a fan of Iron maiden though. but thats just personal. but The Crusade is an amazing song. Rising is one of my favorites by them. but you cant really go wrong with any of their songs.

Fami's Bass reminds me of Lemmy's chord Rickenbacker Bass sound in Motorhead and even Miyoko's guitar riff is similar to Fast Eddie Clarke in 'Ace of Spades' and Filthy Phil Taylor's Drum sound.

Motörbites. ;) Even as someone who has never been a huge fan of Motörhead - Metallica's "Fight Fire With Fire" got me into my favourite subgenre Thrash Metal in 1984 -, I can tell that this song is clearly influenced by Motörhead, especially the beginning - just listen to "Ace of Spades"! For me, Lovebites have taken the best of different "old school" metal styles from the eighties to the next level! As a Thrash Metal fan, my overall faves are "Break the Wall" kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4HGYYuBZdGBo7c (this is definitely the best version!), "Set the World on Fire" kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2rdpHtsnqySbMU , "The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath" kzbin.info/www/bejne/paWti4OLeNysha8 and "Dissonance" kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJnFgX-PjN6JrKs (I'd say that in this song they even enter Death (Metal)-terrritory - only the music, though, not the vocals!) I have been digging you out of that boulder you two were under for the past 5 months and nothing and surprise you end up doing the newest release. I was already giving up and a lot of the stuff you have been doing well I just never bother with it. I only listen to specific bands, especially the ones that aren't looked at or heard of everything else to me is overrated mainstream media garbage, of course, this is only my belief to each their own. If you have never heard of Motorhead then I strongly suggest you check them out, this song I say is an ode to Motorhead. This is a Miyako composition (the golden touch) as she always writes some amazing songs that incorporate everything she loved growing up with her mother listening to the classics of rock as well as the classical element. All five women are classically trained pianists but Miyako and Fami are the ones who do know how to play multiple instruments.

Legendary rocker Lemmy Kilmister and MOTÖRHEAD were friends with the all-female band GIRLSCHOOL (UK). Joint concert Tours, etc. I think if Lemmy were alive and heard "Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)" LOVEBITES, he would be ecstatic ! I'm sure Lemmy would invite LOVEBITES to tour with and MOTÖRHEAD.
