What gets me, is that someone like Lia Thomas, a biological male, who was ranked 425 as a male swimmer, suddenly is “trans”, and becomes the number one ‘female’ swimmer in the NCAA division. The fact you have trans women, now taking over female sports and dominating the competition, are being praised. Even as a straight guy, I can see that they are reversing the very things the feminist movement of the 60’s and 70’s fought for. Now they go after people like JK Rowling for being transphobic, for speaking the truth. Or someone like Caitlyn Jenner, who spent most of her life as professional athlete, who thinks biological males shouldn’t compete as trans against biological women. So taking away scholarships or sports records from biological females, is somehow ok? These girls worked their asses off to get to where they are, only to have it taken away from them. It makes no sense whatsoever. It’s basically men in dresses, trying to erase womanhood, and it’s being accepted. We are NOT the same, no matter what anyone tries to say. Our bone density, hormone levels and genetic makeup are completely different from one another.

Wow, it’s so complicated, but yes, if the genitalia is a problem it’s better to say something from the start. I’ve seen men having the worst reactions when they realize they have been kissing someone with male genitalia, getting violent or having a meltdown. For everyone’s safety and mental integrity, mentioning it will help a lot.
@awordindueseason
@awordindueseason Жыл бұрын
It's not merely genitalia that is an issue in sexual orientation but natural attraction to a specific biological sex. Heterosexual men and women are disgusted by the thought of having been deceived into any form of same sex intimacy because their natural orientation is only toward those of true opposite biology, not just toward anyone who has cosmetically, surgically and/or hormonally made themselves to appear as the opposite sex. There will always be significant differences between the most visually passable trans person versus those who are natural men or natural women because biological sex can't be functionally changed. This is the root cause of the anger and demeaning labelling from trans activists. It is the utmost hypocrisy to cry that trans people want to be accepted for themselves while constantly mislabeling, dehumanizing, attacking, intimidating, non-consensually invading privacy, trying to control, and using slurs against natural men and natural women simply for being themselves.

@@-12Sided Why be so bitter about it? Rejection sucks, and everyone experiences it. If you're biggest issue in life is being rejected on a dating app, then get a grip. There are countries like Japan where they have valentines day + white day, 1 day where boys are expected to give gifts to their crushes and 1 day for the girls to do it back. Plus, women in many countries can not even reject men, because they are forced into marriages, raped, trafficked and more. There are still countries like India where you can even rape your own wife with nothing stopping you, so rejection is literally off the table. There also was a recent study on dating apps that showed on average most dating apps are 75% male and 25% female in the US, and in the EU its even more extreme with some dating apps having 90% male and 10% female! At that point you can't get mad about being rejected, especially when going on a dating app where the numbers are already so heavily scewed.

I'm so sick and tired of being called "phobic" just for not wanting to date somebody. First the fat acceptance movement did it, now everyone else is following it. Dating is suppose to be exclusive. We ALL have our own standards of what we want in a partner. Even people who call you fatphobic for not dating fat people won't even date a fat person themselves. I'm not "smoke phobic" just because I don't find smokers attractive. This whole situation is completely ridiculous.

I don't know if it is still a problem or not, but it was such a double edged sword years ago over interracial relationships. If you did not want to do it, you may be a racist but if you did, then you may be a race fetishist. The LGB community had a real threat of being sent to conversion camps, yet there were comments like on that famous Roseanne episode that, "You think you are cool if you have lesbian friends but you won't consider that maybe you might be gay too." Incels crying that women owe them sex but feminism won't let them or something else weird. Now it is transphobic to not want to get intimate with a transgender person. I had forgotten about the "fat acceptance" stuff. What next? Oh you are ageist against senior citizens if you don't want a relationship with someone old enough to be your grandparent? Whoever people want to date is their business, as long as it is consenting adults and the same rules of no misconduct, harassment, assault, domestic violence, etc. Preferences are called preferences for a reason and I have my own preferences just like anyone else. I don't "have a problem with black people" if I have no interest in that drunk black guy that follows me up a sidewalk cat calling me. I am not homophobic if I don't want to go on a date with a lesbian and I don't think there might be "a little bit of gay" in me somewhere. I think incels do come in different forms and resort to this gaslighting or whatever this tactic is called; it is not strictly a problem experienced by men who have become misogynists because they can't get lucky with the ladies.

Many trans people think if they are the opposite sex, their lives will be different. That it will change their circumstances and alleviate loneliness. When they find out that is not the case, they need to blame all the external issues in their lives and not the fact that being the opposite sex does not change your personality. Nor does it magically make you desirable. Work on you first, then maybe the rest will follow.

I am so lucky I was born earlier then this terrifying trend. I had a 'trans' friend who wanted to date me, mind you they were really messed up. I told them I was not attracted to 'another girl' and they ended up coming back later and trying to bring out a 'character' who was a male, so I'd do it with them. I was really uncomfortable. They are now 'trans' and I know 100% if I had known them in this day and age I would have been forced into a horrible situation because I'd be stuck between being very confused and not wanting to be a hateful person, it'd just be r word. I'd be manipulated into doing it and haunted for the rest of my life.

We always had conflict, it was only when I sat across and CALMLY explained things from my side as a gay man that guys who hadn't been at all okay with people like me really changed their outlook. I have a friend now who once upon a time hated that aspect of me. He came to pride with me numerous years and has since stood in my corner. I was attacked and threatened because I questioned how can a "cis" man be heterosexual if he's with a trans-woman that hasn't had bottom surgery. I asked the question genuinely because, to me, sexuality by definition has to do with sex, not gender. And heterosexual means to be attracted to the opposite sex. I was called a trans-phobe and a bigot for asking the question and was told that I better shut up and "stay in my lane" before something happens to me. So, thank you for addressing this question. I believe the path to understanding is lead by open and honest dialog. But so many zealots refuse to have a simple conversation

Yes, those cis men would be in fact gay. I said this before, but lots of trans women don’t want to date gay men. They need a cis hetero to make their identity complete. A gay man would shatter the delusion, and remind the trans women of what they actually are. So they will insist that their boyfriends are totally, absolutely, 100% straight. The whole thing sounds homophobic to me, but that’s trans ideology for you.

I disagree that sexuality has to do with sex and not gender. A man can be attracted to femininity and not care what kind of genitalia is attached to femininity. I think that the fact that these people can't find anyone to date even within their own communities who share their own identities, values and politics when there are literally hundreds of others like them their sharing their similar grievances on TikTok and social media is telling. Could it be that they come across as not particularly nice, well adjusted or safe to be around and if you did get involved with them it could be difficult (if not nigh on impossible) or possibly even dangerous to disengage with them if things didn't work out right? If you are displaying more red flags than a communist state funeral then no one wants that regardless of your gender or orientation. These people, just like everyone, finds someone attractive and wants to date them. But normal people when find out that who they like doesn't feel same about them, leaves that person alone snd doesn't pursue. But when it comes to this group of people, they have an understanding that whoever they like must feel the same about them, because they're entitled and they were taught that everyone must accept them and be ok with them, and they feel it has to be the same when it comes to romantically relationships. They seem to think whoever they choose must be with them, because they like them. They don't accept what the other side wants, because it's all about them, snd their wants. That's why they complain, because people don't want to date them, when they do. They feel it's discrimination and not allowed for others to choose. Because they were told everyone must accept them , so they expect to be accepted in such way too.

1:24 I think another good argument to refute this is that, just because a person is attracted to women, doesn't mean they're attracted to EVERY SINGLE WOMAN ALL THE TIME. Like me, I have a fairly specific type and if you don't fall into something like that type, I'm not gonna be interested. It is the right of everyone to turn down a date from someone they're not attracted to, for whatever reason! 🙄

I accept trans woman as woman (after they go through surgerie and present themselves as a woman) But they are not real, biological woman, same for men And thats why I would accept a trans man as a man (that present himself as a man) but the only idea of being with a trans man disgusts me, because he isn't a real man, that's a biological woman

This 💯. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that jazz. Not everyone is attracted to everyone and attraction isn't a conscious choice, its an instinctive one.

What even is there to discuss? Anyone can reject anyone for any reason at any point, and that is completely fine, OBVIOUSLY. Because what else are they gonna do once they have lost interest, for whatever reason!? Force themselves to sleep with them, just to appease them for political correctness ' sake?! Who even would want that? Just be straightforward from the beginning about who you are, and not a liar, then this question won't even need to arise.

The thing that absolutely drives me crazy about this is that in a way it is saying that their identity is part of their core being and exist but someone's sexuality is not. Which sounds pretty homophobic to me coming from people who should be in the lgbt+ community. It *is* an argument we have fought for so long to get people to understand that for some people sexuality is rigid. They are only attracted to the same sex. It seems so backwards especially since they talk so much about "all identities are valid" I am bi. I have dated men, women and trans individuals. but I stand with you on this.
