It's usually the other way around. I highly doubt he believes in any of this stuff. What he's most likely passionate about is "we're all in this together!" where he believes if trans "rights" are diminished, then so will gay rights. I have 2 lesbian friends that dont truly believe in this stuff but they genuinely think it's deeply connected to lesbian and gay rights. They're still my friends because we grew up together but now they see me as a dumbass for not supporting a lot of trans stuff and im going to ruin their rights as lesbians and mine as a gay guy. Most gays and lesbians support this stuff because we've groomed them into thinking trans and gay are connected, when theyre not.

These types rely on you keeping your lip buttoned. That's how they got so much influence for such a small group. Let him get his feelings hurt. It was do gooder child psychologists from the late 80's on that persuaded the west to take away all discipline and for kids never to experience hurt or disappointment. The result is demanding the world be how they insist. Life hurts your feelings. Learning to handle it is how you grow not by expecting the world to cave (what your brother's doing). It will never happen and the demands made by this small group in the last few years is what's turned much of the support they had against them. If you have an opinion don't hide it.

@@liz9284 That's the big problem. So many so-called trans people never seek psychological confirmation. It's all self-diagnosed, like depression and such was when I was in school. Everyone was self-diagnosing themselves with a mental health issue and it was, at most, half of them that actually had one to any degree. And I feel it may become the same with being trans. Looking at things that can be explained other ways as though the can't and they can only be trans. It's frightening to think about the number of potential detransitioners it's going to create. I just hope that everything calms down a little again and people start seeking professional confirmations again and doing things the smarter way by making damn sure it's what they actually want and not what they have just been told.

For me as a heterosexual grandmother who has a 17 year old granddaughter that is wanting to take male hormones when she is 18yrs old & considers herself as transgender (not Transexual)…I appreciate Marcus & his guest(s)’ perspectives because I love my grandchildren very much! I need to hear all aspects of the Trans life. However, I’m not onboard with the WOKE Ideology of: using plural pronouns for a singular person nor am I on board with any young person under the age of 18 doing any transitioning. Honestly, I don’t think they should do it until Age 25 or older because it’s been proven that people do not reach their peek maturity/confidence level of know how they feel about being in their own skin until the age of 25. Most of us human have felt insecure about body image, our own sexual preferences, whether we are good enough….ect. I think young people need to take those years between 18-25 and just grow into mature adults … as to accomplishing a higher education/professions in order to pay for their transition medical needs. And of course, to mature in their social life & how are they going plan the Transition Journey (who will be there support team) because they are going to need to be completely confident that they are making the right life changing decision. All because these woke gender warriors hate straight white men! I am a transsexual meaning I got a sex change and fully pass. So offensive that these people think CLOTHING equals a new gender! I literally wouldn’t even date pre op because I didn’t want to be touched down there! Actual gender and sexed body and genital dysphoria is not fun! I’m so tired to these self ID types comparing themselves to me! My boyfriend and I met as friends first and he didn’t know I was transsexual. He finally ended up asking me out and when I told him my medical history he was willing to overlook it because he already had a crush! He had never ever considered being with someone like me and is the hunting and fishing conservative type, but I pass, and I am fully transitioned and have a sex change, and I am NOT woke! At my job there is a gay dude who wears lipgloss who is always making jokes about wanting straight men, and almost trying to lump him and I together as both being “trans”! I’ve tried to explain how lipgloss doesn’t change your gender and asked him if he would ever date our gay coworker, and he was like “so offended” because he’s a he/they! 😂😂😂 like bruh u have a beard and sound and look like James Charles stop pining for straight dudes just because you like lipstick and changed your pronouns! 🤦🏻‍♀️

So now I'm muted crying to myself because i can't come to find myself to understand, even though it was so simple it just seemed IMPOSSIBLE for me to understand how a person gets the point to have these types of feelings. Good lord, that "trans gay man" (who couldn't even pass if we compared her to Brian Molko or Ville Valo) seemed just like a bratty tomboy with some EXTREME daddy issues... Seriously, she gets what is ostensibly a massive compliment on her "masculinity" (despite her pixie cut, make-up and what looks like a french manicure!), and that is somehow a RED FLAG? There is no rolleyes emoji big enough in the known universe to convey the "GIRL, PLEASE..." moment I'm having here. Also, is it just me, or did part of her story reek just a bit too much of the classic "gay/lesbian turned straight" trope? As you two aptly pointed out, most of this stuff on Tiktok feels like it's an empty performance; I've honestly seen better acting in The Room... And I feel like I am technically insulting Tommy Wiseau by comparing him to these people, because compared to some of them, his work is Oscar material 🤦‍♂

Love that you guys are talking about the mental health benefits of monogamy or at least commitment, especially for those in the gay community I feel like those love bonds are the deepest experience humans long for… it also goes hand in hand with the promiscuity culture in the gay community, which can be so detrimental to people’s self worth and mental health … I firmly believe in live and let live but it’s hard to ignore how these mindsets and behaviors are hurting people on a mental/spiritual level.

So nice to see other non "woke" LGBT voices online, I was starting to feel very alone in my views. And to go off what Matt was talking about with gay open relationships: I read this book "Velvet Rage" and I think honestly every gay men should read this. It goes into a lot of depth about gay learned behaviour from childhood that leads to a lot of problems with commitment and relationships and this unhealthy obsession with seeking out as many men as possible and much much more tbh. It's kind of interesting how it all sort of connects from psychological perspective.

My femme gay friend is like this, very Jame Charles type, creepy even. Will turn down a gay dude because he’s slightly effeminate! I think porn has alot to do with it. Too many gay men form unrealistic expectations of partners from watching “straight man tops femme bottom” porn lol. Seems like lots of gay dudes want the same type of relationship that their straight female friends have, and will go through guy after guy, picking out flaws or femme attributes searching for a man who probably doesn’t exist. So sad! Fem for fem needs to be a thing! It’s okay to be two fabulous gay campy men in a relationship! Plus you can shop together! Lol! I have had enough gay guy friends to know that many of them sleep around with more guys than the most popular hooker on a busy NY street corner. Not only that but they often do it without using protection. I can do without all that BS, drama and pain. For a partner, I'm not into guys who like guys...period. She was furious and tried to accuse me of being homophobic and every other phobic in the book. I'm going to send her the link to your video so she can hear it from adults actually within that community, straight from the horse's mouth, if you will. Great convo once again. I keep thinking I will suddenly understand the myriad nuances if I tune in enough but tbh...this lifelong female is still confused af

I have seen this happen with my gay friends repeatedly. There is one that does not want the open love life and they get mad at straight married people because I see them wanting that relationship. They feel that they must be this way because they are gay which I have told them many times you can be whatever gay you want to be, but the gay community will judge him, and we know they do judge gays that want a normal relationship. So, the oldest gay couple I know do not have many gay friends, but a lot of lesbian friends. They met in the 70’s and are not and an open couple happy too. They have said that other gay men can get very mad and catty for being how they want, but they ignore or put them down because both do not stand for shit because of what they had to go through in the past. The other ones are so happy to be open and love going around f-ing everyone, but I have seen the little love-struck boys who hang off them getting their feelings hurt because you can see they are the normal relationship, no cheating kind of person and they are too scared of being that gay because it is hard to be that gay. I feel as a person looking in at the gay community (Talking about the gay part only. Not the other side of the community.) there needs to be more visibility of the gay relationship that is like the straight people style. That is also seen as a big problem to gay guys. Being seen as straight it has always been around and seen in a bad light. Only now they are using it toward straight people for no reason other than you are in pain.

I am a heterosexual male and love being with heterosexual women that I find attractive. My dating pool is huge. But what narrows it somewhat is who they are as a person. It's great to have options in both ways, attraction and personality. Cis isn't so bad. Gays and and Lesbians are Cis. Respect.

Is the Transman in the video really just a Tomboy? I mean she got mad that the gay guy thought she was more masculine.

Wow, thank you so much for posting these videos. Regardless if you're gay or not, open relationships cause chaos and instability as it amplifies insecurities that are deeply seeded into us. Souls are made in pairs, find yours!

I'm 61 and have gay & lesbian friends who have been in committed relationships for many years & are very happy! Maybe it's just the good old days and times have just changed for the worst! Confusing. Kinda think lots of naval gazing these days & too many people are so self absorbed. I worry so much for young people & the direction of society. Life is challenging & complicated but we all have one shot at it! I'm trying to be nice & understanding but ...get over yourself & get on with it. Stop trying to make yourself relevant via Tik Tok & other social media. Hell just live a human life & get out there, FFS stop whingeing

I've only been watching for a short time, and have really been proud of your message in many ways. You are so important to bringing in a voice to help us make our minds about the issues. I wanna call things out straight away because I want to continue watching and hearing your message. I felt a bit in this video that there was a lot of needless cuts and judgements towards individuals. Like I agree with your ultimate judgment of what is happening, but making fun of them and laughing doesn't sound like it's consistent with your overall great message. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for reading. And thank you for your perspective online and a push back. I'm a gay man who doesn't like the way people treat each other in general. A compassionate voice even in the most ridiculous of situations, we are the true LGBT movement and we do want to actually show and receive love (not the fake statement of today)

Im a 34 year old gay man. In my teens and early 20's i slept around; ALOT. 😅 met someone and we were exclusive. Moved in together, got a dog and we were living the ideal happy gay life. About 8 years in we started getting distant. We tried the open relationship thing which is what ultimately ended it. We should have went to couples therapy or at least tried to fix things before introducing a 3rd. Now i know for a fact open relationships are not something im into. Idc who you are or waht you say. "Open relationships" are just an excuse to cheat. It also goes agasint the whole idea of having a relationship with ONE human. 🙄
