There’s a girl I’m talking to who has MS and I can see how it affects her view of dating or giving herself out there because of MS But part of me feels like despite it all, I’m willing to still be with her. She is amazing and a Beautiful soul that deserves love and happiness too

I put it right out there on a site. Due to my previous lack of sensibilities, awareness - It wasn't a good experience. Here's what I would do differently, should I try it again: Just because someone has a disability doesn't make them a more reliable candidate. I also noticed that people didn't necessarily read my whole profile . I'm happy to hear success stories. Just remember that only physical presence together, sharing the Real with the fun and excitement, proves what a person is really like. Sometimes one dinner can do it! And for some, we can seem vulnerable, so have fun and be safe!

I was diagnosed in 1997 and have been married and I’m happily divorced from a narcissist in 2015. I’m going to give up on dating because nobody cares what MS is, so it’s been frustrating.

I don't have MS myself, but just started dating someone who has MS. I care very much so about his MS and how it affects him as I'm sure other people do when they date or meet someone with MS and get close to them. Not everyone doesn't care, it's the wrong people who you don't want in your life that don't care.

After my diagnosis, I married the man I was currently with quickly. I used to be an aerobic instructor in perfect shape. Now, I cannot run. I also realize I married the man I was with because I was scared of being alone. I think I am still scared of being alone. I served my spouse divorce papers...but will I be alone forever now?

Well dating hasn’t been great for me well they weren’t all terrible. Most relationships lasted 2+ years each time and this last one was a couple of months. I just received my first round of lemtrada and it’s all up from here. Maybe I’ll go back to the state to where you couldn’t tell I had ms. But there is a lot that needs to happen. Only hoping for the best. I will always have ms but want to be where you can’t tell that I have it. I don’t try hiding the fact that I do, I ask if it bothers them that I have ms...

Kevin Martin Wow that's was insensitive. Some people don't understand what the disease is, so the next person you decide to share it with try explain what type of disease it is and how it affects you.

Andrea I apologize deeply please forgive me 🙏🏿

Kevin Martin You didn't do anything wrong. I was saying what your cousin said was insensitive. I apologize that I didn't explain. I pray that it gets easier to open up about MS, you shouldn't have deal with it alone. Blessings to u 😀
