My husband is not someone who sparkles and sweeps you off your feet. He is someone who is responsible and reliable. So yes, go for the slow burn not the spark!

Yes I agree, responsible and reliable IS #1 vs the spark. Yet I still Hoping. I even recently moved to South Carolina. Led by the Holy Spirit and Southern hospitality.

@@Connie10000 Technically you guys lowered your standards but said in a very professional way BY Logan Ury. Careful, Chad is around the corner so becareful and don't get mad if you see him later on. You married down, Ma'am. June 9, 2024. USA

I’m been saying this ish for years. People who are always single, their expectations are too high (it’s cause their friends). They think they deserve the best when they are not themselves. I actually came up with a system to solve this where you rate yourself on qualities from 1-10 and potential mates. The overall combine number should be similar. Pick five qualities you look for. It works and it’s fool proof.

@@Akira282 People need to marry average people but the people of today if they are not attractive desire some one hot and (IF) they themselves are not hot to begin with. It's like the chubby person with zits wanting to date the hot woman and wanting to go with her to the Prom or Morp. June 9, 2024. USA

#4&5: Lovebombing Narcissists who court you for a month, and Habitual Ghosters-Avoidants if they find just one thing "off" about you, without realizing that they, too, have quirks and red flags. But all communication stops suddenly, with no real warning, no closure. Until they show up on text during Mercury Retrograde or a lonely Friday night after their 6th date of the week canceled at the last minute, and now, they're sooooo desperate to see you and make up for lost time. SMH. Glad I'm not playing that dating game anymore.

I don't believe 75% of people on Hinge are ready for a relationship. I think a lot say they are but are not!

I had to save my life so I had to divorce. I keep getting the wrong men. Two times married but I am scared to be abused again. I just wanted to get a friend first, but people change

This makes me think those dating apps are dying and they’re just trying to continue selling the idea that Men of Caliber would exist on those apps. As if!
