Another truthful video Pea on a very difficult topic, I am very close to my Filipinas 2 older children, it's very sad she wants our 2 young children to grow up without me, luckily the older siblings are helping the little ones (mine) understand that I'm not the terrible person she wants them to think I am...😥 Well done Pea!

My experience with western single mothers is you start off in 3rd place. Never give you the alone time with her to bond or really get to know them, kid is always joined at the hip. You're just starting from somebody else's saved game. If anything you get more attached to the kid and she'll try to hold that over your head to keep you around once you realize it'll never work. That's not even bringing up the ex's drama.

Ms Pea your assessment is spot on. A few years ago I dated a Filipina who had three young kids and it was as disaster. I visited she and her kids twice in the Philippines. She treated me like an ATM machine (and she got mad when I closed my checkbook). I found out the hard way that she was just looking for a sugar daddy. Even if she didn't have any children I am sure she would have treated me the same way. I'm currently with a Filipina who does not have any children and the relationship is awesome.

Kamusta Pea, An excellent informative video as always. I have been married to a Filipina for 10 years. I realized that for me dating a woman with children would be a huge mistake and I am very happy that I never fell in love with a woman who already had children. To be honest, you pointed out even more reasons than I knew of and realized, I was totally shocked!! Even after 10 years of marriage to a Filipina and living in the Philippines 3 years before meeting my wife, I realize that you are so good and very more informative about women in the Philippines than anyone I have ever met. Heck, I never knew that taking someone's child to the mall is illegal, OMG!!! Can't even imagine the problems that alone causes every year!!! Pea, you deserve the success you have and I truly wish you the best and hope your channel grows further along with your success. It would be an honor to meet you the next time my wife and I are in the Philippines. God Bless and be safe, Jason & Maria

I'm petrified of being accused of something I didn't do to a child over there or anywhere really. If someone wanted to extort money or just get revenge it's their word against yours and your word is useless in a foreign country. I say stay away and let someone else handle it. Also make sure you are never ever left alone with a kid. And that goes for your home country too. Too many women over there to take risks. Such a shame that society has come to this because children crave real men in their lives, but I'm not going to be around them if there is a risk of me getting thrown in prison.

OK. I know this won't register but I'll give it a try...you are creating a fantasy world for yourself. I get it, she is a great woman. But you treating her and her husband's (assuming still married) kids as your own doesn't make it true. It's a fantasy. If you want to rationalize away the many Philippine laws you would be breaking as no big deal then I hope your luck holds up. There are millions of women to choose from. Breaking laws really isn't required. You're not hearing what Pea is trying to explain to you.

@@MrWaterbugdesign I don’t live in a fantasy world. I live in real life. My girlfriend isn’t married, it’s not hard to verify. I’m an example of what Pea was referring to. My mother was a single Filipina with three kids. Although we were in the US, she dated an American, married him and he adopted us. I have no blood relation to my adoptive father, yet he acknowledges me to this day as his son. Nothing wrong about that. As far as breaking any laws, you can get the Republic Act 7610 and read the provision. Taking care of my girlfriend’s children falls within that Act so I’m not breaking any laws. The US has similar laws, was my father breaking any laws taking care of me and my brothers who at the time prior to our adoption wasn’t his? I have real life experience with the subject of this video. It isn’t a “fantasy”.

I have been married to a former single Filipina mother for 10 years now. It has been a great experience. However, I have experienced EVERYTHING you described at one time or another. Starting with a 9 year old trying to get his stubby little nose under our bedroom door crying to sleep with mom. That dog don't hunt here! He also seemed to think he was in charge, perhaps based on his being the oldest Filipino male child in the household. One threat that seemed to work for a while was offering to send him back to Kuya and give Filipino discipline a chance to work. That was my first hint he really liked it in the USA.

After marrying a single mother, I found out how deceptive she had been. But it got worse. Time, money and attention to my kids or anything other than her children were seen as threats. The deception, control, and vindictiveness only got worse with time. And that's your solution; time. Slow down your rush to marriage and watch her over time. She won't be able to hide her need for control, how she views you as nothing but a source. Time. Eyes wide open.

100 percent On Point. I am married to what was a single filipina mother, for me I enjoy getting to be a daddy again, and I have learned to accept all the curves that I get thrown, but I would definitely not encourage it, as it definitely does interfere with enjoying a new life together in what should be retirement, new beginning, ect. I had dreams of marrying a beautiful lady and traveling together, exploring many places here in the Philippines as well as many other Asian countries, living life to its fullest. But instead we are full time parents, and the only time we have alone is when we go to get my Visa extension every 60 days, we stay in a hotel for a night and leave the children with their grandparents. Although I would never change the life I have now, i could definitely see where most expats would not be happy with a single mother. Great topic Pea, thank you for your truthful content.

Sometimes the oldest 3 girls will chat with at random and always greet me every morning and evening with a hello daddy! We have already bonded and I can't wait to meet my gf and the girls! Hey Pea...I agree with most of what you've said on here..Pinays are not perfect but are definitely better than most options an average man will find here in the U.S...99% of expats are average people who are trying to live their best life. An honest, caring, and family oriented Pinay is a bonus to a more affordable, healthier life in the Philippines.

So Rhian can have the same last name as her mom and I. That will be such a honor to are Family last name.

Single moms are the same everywhere. Talking to one recently near Taytay ... i ask her to close her eyes and imagine the perfect man for her. Tears come to her eyes and she tells me she was thinking of her childs' father. They will always have that bond. 10 years of your marriage can pass, he can text her once, and her bags will be packed before you get home from work. Protect yourself men.

Thank you Pea, I appreciate your wisdom. As you stated there are many moralistic dilemmas in dating a Fllipina single with or without kids, married women, etc... however, I am in the USA and my experiences with them are very loving, caring and generous relationships which means I have to be a big spender or provider. They can be gold diggers. The moment the generosity stops, the wonderful relationship weakens. Life and love will be a dream world, but generally ends in disaster when the man stops the big spending. As long as you fulfill her life with her expectations, the love never ends. The moment the love and giving changes, so will the commitments. I had several heart breaking Fillipina relationships. I had to go back to Asian-Chinese since I am Chinese. As most Chinese are frugal, and money hoarders, the mix with big spenders can be difficult. I do miss the beauty and charm of Fillipinas. Thank you for the reflections. Perhaps, there should be a Vlog on the mentality of the Fillipina women and their gold digging demands and how to survive living with them.

One thing about picking a mother as a partner is that her baby is part of her body and no matter what you do for her or how many years you do it for her she'll love that baby more than you.. If you do absolutely everything to make her happy and the baby ends up being a burglar and a drug addict you are in second place. If she has 9 children , you are in 10th place.

My partner had just come out of abusive relationship many years prior to meeting me. She was offered a baby by a homeless lady. My partner agreed to take the child as long as the family agreed to sign all relevant paperwork to allow my partner to fully adopt the child. When I met my partner her adopted daughter was 10 years old. She is now 17 and I have joint custody of her. I have paid for her schooling and give her the things she needs for daily life. As far as I am concerned she is mine and my partners true daughter. She knows of her true families identity and I have the address of them should she ever want to meet them. But as present she is not wanting to even consider it. People often ask me if I had been in the same position as my partner would I have don’t the same thing. My answer is always 100% yes. I love my partner and my daughter so much. To anyone dating a Filipino with a child. If you are careful, stick to the laws and commit to your partner and her child it can be amazing for all parties.

When I first arrived in country, I met and dated a woman who was a single mom. It did not matter to me that she had a young daughter. We lived together for about two years. My girlfriend was a responsible and caring daughter. I tried to be a good step father to her daughter, but no matter what I did, we never had any connection. This was my first time dating a lady who had a child. It was a good overall learning experience for me, but in the end things did not work out. Lastly, I too felt like others have stated about being treated like a walking ATM. I moved on after several other relations and have a nice wife a two children.

11:03 I did, I did, and I did, thank you. And it's not lost on me how lucky I was. It could've gone south in a hurry at any point. But to my wife's credit, she was up front with me about her daughter the day we met. She was 5 y/o at the time. And she laid out all the details about who the father was and that he skipped out and hadn't heard from him in years. His loss. I fell in love with my stepdaughter almost as quickly as I fell in love with my wife. Nothing in this world is "happy ever after;" but we were happier than either of us probably expected -- for 42 years. My stepdaughter is quite successful and as far as I'm concerned she is my daughter. And I still have her even though my wife was called home to The Lord. She lives through my daughter and that gives me comfort.

I'm a single mom. But single mom. Is better than the young single lady, I already prove what I saying now because a lot of number of foreign was been here on my place and they already scammed a young lady, not a single mom. Single lady is very demanding, compare to a single mom. And single young lady mostly after the money of the older foreign man. I have my cousin already married a foreign man in New Jersey and she already proved it, how not good the young single lady, they only using the older man, be a sugar daddy and they used them to get a visa to going US, then after months, they get a divorce and they find a young foreign man. That's the result, they only using the old foreign man. Being a single mom. I never ask money and I'm not a demanding, and asking anything to the man, and single mom. Is loyal, respectful, thoughtful and God fearing, like me, and does not mean, that a single mom. On dating site is find a man to raise her children, no not. This vedio is lie, because we all know that almost of the young lady is doing bad to the old foreign man, because a lot of number of a foreign man I was been help them because they already lost all they're money to a young lady Filipina.

This is definitely a "your mileage may vary" situation. It isn't fair to lump all single mothers into the category "more red flags than a Chinese parade" since I'm sure some are transparent about themselves while others are not. A guy must be very mindful and aware of the big picture if he's considering getting involved with a single mom. If she has been open about everything and he has vetted her thoroughly over the course of 6-12 months, then it will likely work out just fine for both. Unfortunately, there are many men who fail to see (or worse, disregard) the warning signs and fall into a trap they will later regret. Maintain an abundance mindset, exercise your options, and don't be so quick to 'wife up' someone who possess an ulterior motive.

The only time to have a relationship with a single mother is... 1. When the child's father is not in their lives. 2. If you're ready to accept her kids in your life. 3. Accept that her kids come first. 4. No matter what the outcome is, accept the fact that the mom will always take her kid's side over yours. 5. When you know the real reason why she was separated from her kid's father.

this was a hard video to watch. Children is the one thing missing in my life. My love and I are hoping to adopt, but from what I have been told from other expats, this probably won't happen either. The couple of times I dated a single mother here in the States, it ended up being a total disaster. The mothers were not looking for love, a husband, or a good father for their children. They were looking for an ATM. Was told point blank by them I would have NO say in the upbringing. Both times, I ended the relationship that night. I even tried adopting here in the States. Spend over $20,000 fighting for the chance to adopt a child. After the third year of trying, my lawyer actually released me as a client telling me she heard from the judges in family court say "there is no way in HELL we will let a single man adopt a child." I still don't know why God decided I wasn't supposed to have children in my life, but I have to trust His judgment.

She such a sweet heart and her little one calls me all the time lmao. I love kids, and they deserve a father so kids isn't a disturbance to me. I taught catechism for children and have my associates for k-6 teaching education, I see children as blessings.

@@steveford2626 How do you solve the legal issues that Pea mentioned? You can not be with the kids when their mom is not around. Isn't it a huge risk?

We have a LDR, her kids are older, why men need to have younger women who want kids, accept a ready made family with older children, I just put her daughter in a private Uni, she wanted to be a lawyer, now she study tourism, she is happy that she can do what she wants not feel pressured into a job she did not want to do but felt obliged.

I'm 58, I'm not really interested to raise another child. But if she has one, it would be better than a girl who wanted me to give her a 'blue eyed' baby.
