It's not pessimism but a different economy root. What you can do in the US is impracticable in Italy

Recently I discovered that you can just sell 27 items or 2000€ max online before being noticed to the fiscal authority 🤷🏻♂️I mean.. if I sell something because I'm moving to another place I could be persecuted 🌈 (dac7 norm) entrepreneurship my 🤦♂️

Weve been in a rush to go, go, go, since kindergarten. Cant be late or you're pretty much punished for it from childhood to adulthood. Dont miss school or mom can get arrested. Dont be late for work, or you can be fired. Its the fear implanted in us to not be late. Im usually 30 minutes early now that im grown lol

It’s not that Italians are pessimistic. It’s that Americans are not living in reality

Not everywhere in Italy, You can be late in Rome, you can be late in Naples or Taranto etc But if you're late in Milan, Turin, Venice, Florence etc (northern italy) you'll be fired. For sure!

@@SyrinxArcadianNymph well in Spain that's normal and where I'm from it's normal and it is for parts in Italy and I think even the French too are not exactly on time when it comes to personal situations usually about 10 to 15 minutes late is the norm

What do you expect from Americans? They're not used to the high-quality EU standards and excellent lifestyle. They would rather work 60 hr weeks instead of taking a week long holiday trip to the French Riviera or go to Crete for a weekend getaway. I know because I used to live in the EU and going back in a few years.

@@Us-entry-waiver have you ever thought that travel and life generally in the US is harder?

@user-kr4hg8pu4g Oh yes, most definitely since Western society, unfortunately, has taken a plummet. Maybe i should do a KZbin video on this topic and also tie in what we do for work. In fact, I'm gonna do one right now.

@@Us-entry-waiver I don't understand if you think americans want to or have to work 60-hour weeks. I also don't know where you think most people could get the time or money to take a vacation to France. In a country where having an ambulance called could put you in debt, I'd be working 60-hour weeks too, but not because I think it's fun.
