I have given up on Dating in the USA. BUT - I was in the PI for 2 months and NOT One girl looked at me, smiled at me, or spoke to me. I was in 3 different cities. I was invisible. Women in the USA will approach me when shopping. I have dated much more than most men. Of course you get some bad women who are looking for a Sugar daddy.

Before I gave up on US Women and dating sites I had gone to the restaurant and had drinks and an appetizer. I knew within 5 minutes we were not a match. From that point forward only coffee meetups. Still never found the one. Now I have a Filipina girlfriend for the last 2 years. And instead of a woman my age my Filipina is 36, I’m 64. She’s a lovely person and I count myself lucky to have declined to date in the US ever again.

The Straight truth. I'll never forget in Paul's first video he said he would never date a middle aged American woman ever again. We'll i haven't. I own a small Wood Flooring buisness, the last date I went on here, about 5 years ago, the woman brought Flooring samples in her purse for me to install in her condo. I took her to dinner and a Mariners game, $300 later I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I help out my girl in the Philippines, but she also works in the pineapple canning plant. I really enjoyed my first visit to the Philippines, and I learned so much. I learned you have to be incredible shy if you don't meet a nice girl, they are beyond friendly and kind. But I also learned they want out of poverty; do you blame them? Them wanting out of poverty gives you the complete advantage but use it wisely AND DONT HURT THEM!!!! Words of advice, if you meet a girl and she has a KZbin channel and she is hanging out in bars, AVOID THEM!!! When you find the right girl, be responsible to her, care for all her needs, her heart will follow. Looking forward to my next visit!

Man, you're killin' me up in here. Bringing me back to an experience with a girl about 25 years ago. I'm out of Portland. Went down to Vegas for the SEMA show. That is a huge trade show for Motorsports gearheads like me. I had a couple of conversations with a stripper down there. Well it was enlightening. Anyway. I don't really even know where to begin. You know, I haven't really told this story. Because it just had to do with business. Nothing salacious went on here but it's just one of those stories that stays in Vegas. I live in New York and find all the pitfalls of long-term and short-term relationships while looking for the right person. But they’re here already! The $200 x 2 = $400 meal story was wild. Never had that happen, but had dates where they were setting up 2 per evening at the same place. I buy the drink and the next guy buys the meal. I have also met women hitting year 7, the last year, on alimony, so time to find a new meal ticket. Then, I really like the ones with 3 kids who divorced the husband, a high earner, because he would "do anything I asked." Had 3 or 4 of those. They were getting alimony and child support for 3 kids from a high earner. My Filipina asked me, yesterday, if she could buy a nice $10 US dress. She usually buys the 30 PHP dresses at the Ukay Ukay, as I have observed her do this for hours. I like buying her stuff, because her needs are incredibly modest and she is not even slightly demanding.

Many times, I will slip out without her even knowing... less talking, explaining, bitching... In the Philippines, a girl might bring her sister or friend, as a chaperone, I married a Filipina in the 1980's the marriage lasted 3 years. Understand when you marry a Filipina you're marrying the WHOLE FAMILY... culturally.. she doesnt understand why you wont CHANGE and become more like them.. even though we were living in the US. He sister instructed her how to steal money from our bank account... She was pretty shattered that her own sister and family would instruct her on how to steal from me... The marriage ENDED... I couldn't trust her any longer.

Yeah, I had something like that. Happened to me not quite as bad as taking three meals home but first date she picks one of the most expensive restaurants here in Michigan. It’s happening all over the country. But those days are gone. I have a beautiful girlfriend and Dumaguete I just was there for a month And I’m going to retire in February moving there. Just have to finish getting my ducks in a row. Anyway, these women are all narcissist that take advantage of men for food. They don’t care about you. They just care about themselves. Worst date I had in the US, believe it was in the paper (was back when internet was by aol...lol) didn't ask for a picture...big mistake, she was a pig.....as you stated, was a gentleman and finished the date (dinner at hooters) but never again, always required a pic after that. Lots of dating pitfalls in the US. Especially if you are older and dating. Wish I had some of this information before I met my Filipina LDR who is now my wife here in the US. Good advice. I met my GF's parents shortly after we started dating and they were happy to meet me. After about 6 months of off and on as I travel a lot for social media obligations we finally decided to rent a place together and see if things will work out for us. I travel to Calbayog tomorrow and on my way pick her up in Tacloban on my way through. I think the moral of this comment is that if you don't try then you will not succeed in a relationship and there are cultural, language , customs and more times than not age gaps that make a relationship a bit difficult to begin with. Don't give up because they are simply bumps in the road. I was married to a Chinese lady for 20 years so have been through this already and it is a journey that takes time. It just doesn't happen over night.

The best dating experience I had was in the Philippines. I love Adobo "My Nickname" from a Filipina. I was staying at the Hilton in Manila and ordered Adobo at the restaurant. I told the waitress that I love Adobo, she said "Come to my house and I'll make you real Adobo" My whole experience that night was better than a 5 star restaurant. She was so excited to cook for me.

I take public transport because I have bad vision and chose to give up driving. My pinay doesn't know how to drive. Cheap transportation is only the boon. I was the whole 6s women want and trust me when i say they do it to everyone. At 31 i am very comfortable leaving women on a date who: Arrive late, i leave when im done eating Dont talk during the date Are on their phone the whole time Complain about exs Are rude to staff In the philippines everyone is not only much nicer but, good girls, i can see it in their eyes when they want to help and contribute but just dont have that kind of money. As a man i never ask to go 50/ 50 but i do have some demands and a big one is that she try and help whenever possible, however possible. Filipinas may not always be able to contribute much money but cleaning, translating, bartering and telling me what theyd like to do and where they dream of traveling to brings more joy to me then someone putting in 50% of the budget ever could

We got some construction guys over here that are build a new basketball courts for the city out there and stuff their talking about 800 pesos a day and so that is absolutely ridiculous compared to the $80 to $100 a day they get in the stat

Dating sites are generally a horrible place to meet anyone. I tried one or two of them and mainly found them to be full of dysfunctional people. I talked with people for quite while before I asked them to meet. It took less than a week, generally, to determine NAW this is not a good enough connection to even try. For most of my life I simply met people when I was out doing a hobby or whatever. If something clicked great. If nothing clicked great. Meeting someone in an artificial set up hardly ever works. Many women feel just as awkward in these settings as we do......and even worse most men think if they buy a good dinner that they are gonna get so late night entertainment. So the whole scenario is a shortcut to nothing. There are no shortcuts to good relationships.

Comparing not having a car and taking public transport in the US versus Philippines isn't equal bc majority can't afford a car. If you compared it to Japan yes where many take public transportation and their culture isn't materialistic
