@wallydee8398 she only said that about the first guy. Did he love her? 🤷♂️ the "endgame" was Mike's framing, not her words, as far as we know. In any case, he also indicated that the guys had equally practical considerations - building a retirement house they could never afford in US on land they could never buy as a foreigner, and never pay rent again, while being with a hot, young woman. They were just wrong about the reality not making them as happy as they fantasized.

At 34, divorced, ex got everything plus controlled time with my daughter. I had an air mattress, few pots and ate noodles for a bit. This all happened in my anesthesiology residency. Fortunately, I have a good relationship with my daughter and son in law, and I’m a new g pa. Today, I have no desire to get involved with another Western woman. I don’t even want to waste time dating them. US women are way too masculine these days, and a big turn off.

@@RickMerryman-o7j You’ve been through a tough journey, and it’s clear you've got real strength. Going from rock bottom during your residency to building a good relationship with your daughter and now being a grandfather is huge. Not everyone gets through that kind of hardship with family ties still strong. It's totally understandable that you’re not interested in dating or dealing with certain dynamics anymore, after what you’ve been through, you’ve earned the right to be picky about where you put your energy. You’ve built yourself back up before, and now you can focus on whatever really matters to you, whether it’s your family, your career, or just enjoying life on your terms. @mikesphilippineretirement I will definitely agree that divorce is definitely slotted against the men here in the U.S. Yet the women want to be considered equal for all reasons. I am almost finished with my divorce, and it couldn't happen faster. Never again will I marry or date an American woman. As the Italian people say Forget About It. Asian women are more about family and secure relationships. Most really want an honest man. Since I have been duped here, I have turned and found a woman that I may consider to be the last and forever partner. I have to rebuild my trust and confidence again.

Yes... and no. I wrote a few books on this topic years ago but I think the basic premise is still relevant. What makes a man with one or more failed relationships with women from his own country and culture think it will all change miraculously by going across the world meeting a girl half his age or younger and he behaving exactly as he has all along? Yes, many men have 'peso-nality' and are a means to an end but not all. I don't blame the women for wanting a way out; caveat emptor after all.

This latest guy is taking advantage of an opportunity, too. Most of the work was already done, with the house, and kids half raised. I don't know why he took a loan on the truck, though. If he's banking so much, by living so inexpensively, he could have saved for the remainder of the balance on the truck... But who am I to judge? @@mikesphilippineretirement Hey Mike, I left my (realistic living expense) comment basically to let guys know that read it, it is possible. Of course, I didn’t mention my income, but I retired from UPS of 35 years with a LARGE lifetime pension. Plus my KZbin channel has 94,000 subscribers and well over 25 million total views, which most months earns me equal to and sometimes more money than my UPS pension. Not bragging, just stating I’m doing so well money doesn’t matter. Believe it or not, there are a few guys who live here in Solinea Towers where I stay who have no interest in having a girlfriend or traveling. Both have a lifetime pension around $3000 a month coming in. They’ve been here two and three years and says women are nothing but a headache. Personally, I think they’re just picking the wrong women, but they’re always by themselves and they’re content with it. They also said they hate traveling so they’re fine with just existing. They each have a Filipina they call every once in a while and pay her 1K pesos to come by and, well you know the rest. I have a cousin who is 63 years old who is barely making it in the United States on a $1200 a month pension. And we already know there are a lot of men in the USA in the same financial predicament. He’s planning to move here middle of next year. He’s been asking me if my expenses have changed so he can monitor my lifestyle. After I showed him a video of Solinea Towers with a large swimming pool, workout gym and right down the street from the mall, he was sold. He also has no interest in dating a steady girlfriend or traveling. Some of these guys are just not adventurous. So I posted my original comment to state that a person can live off $1000 a month here without a girlfriend or traveling, if a guy is OK with that. And of course they could move to a cheaper place more towards the province area. Personally, if I was a guy who only had $1000 - $1200 a month coming in living in the USA facing becoming homeless, I’d rather move here and have no girlfriend and not travel. Better than becoming homeless. And like my cousin told me when I asked him about a female companion, “ I could care less about the company of a woman, but if I need temporary female companion, that’s what bar girls are for“. He’s got a point Lol…. Love your videos.

You call that an accomplishment? I am a Malaysian..female. The first thing we think about after education is..Work!! Not find a Foreigner to marry. I had a job at 18 and was a single mom at 20 to a son... raised by his paternal grandparents. With my first job, i qualified to get a loan for a small used Car. In the span of 10 years..i had upgraded my car 2 times to a better model and age. I was renting a room though..working in the city. But i wanted a better lifestyle. Working a 9 to 5 job with a fixed income was NOT going to get me there. So i quit and got a job in Sales. O..mannn..my income skyrocketted working on commission. By age 29, i was driving a brand new BMW..and a brand new house. And went on to stock investments to buying lands. That's the difference between Filipino women and Malaysian women.

Smart move, "Patience is a virtue" otherwise its Out of the frying pan back into the fire ! Had only 1 marriage then divorce, child support, had to sell "Our" house, left with shirt on my back and rented a house room and just kept busy working then within a year bought #2 house as a fixer upper, kept a bedroom for my child's visits until I was forced to accept company relocation out of state then enduring years of mult-states temporary transfers, before buying #3 house another fixer upper and invited my Son who got married at 18 and his wife now having tough living conditions, of course while helping them move out of state, found out she was pregnant, all I could say ok now its plan C ! I became a Single-grandpa and Dad for both during this period, and my past ladies used to say I was selfish because I did not want to get married, some within a month of dating, did not live full time with any, weekend only either my or their place. I always said I was married with my company we had a love/hate relationship but they gave me a paycheck and pension. Later I moved back to my home state got house #4, so three of the 4 houses I had it was titled as Sole Baron ! Oh since property tax and home insurance is ridiculous high and the local western women are too expensive to maintain or even date, maybe by next year Jerry in PI will also leave and Mary will be available, so here comes Bob, like General Douglas MacArthur once said I shall return, so can I, except without the uniform, its been only 50 years ago.

The one that I didn't hear was marriage. Every man bailed on her. Why? What was actually being done to these men causing them to leave? Her family had no boundaries and it seems like they were vultures seeking to nibble all the available funds of these men. It sounds like her whole family was in on the scams. As for the men, they, like most, went there for inexpensive sex, home, and no responsibility. All were duped by the filipina love web.

Awee the last sentence...so sweet. That's why I am and have been so proud of you and Im telling others that some men are just after sex and short time relationships when women would treat their men like Kings once they're loved and supported right in the beginning until they grow with goals and think smart and be confident on their own skin. Most of us, when men do not ever look nor think about us like 'Gold diggers' but women who are in this poor country that when you care and respect, you are raising a woman from a peasant to a QUEEN. Because not many men would think the same neither stay the same. When their attractions are gone so as the feelings go away. They do not even consider that these women would not remain pretty, sexy and beautiful forever but also change physically. If only old expats are after one woman, then they will be safe, have their nice home, and very well taken care of with peace and smiles on their faces until their eyes are closed. Thank you Boss. Im your only babae ok? Ladies find your own, he is taken.

There are many that have a similar story with a house and children, but someday that child support will end. I don't see any problems with Mary's strategy. She was loyal to the guys. They got what they were after and so did she. Not her fault if the first two bailed on her, even if it was done honourably. We never truly know if the one we love loves us back. All we have is faith they do.
