I don't why the other guy likes to talk about Africa as whole when referring to polygamy. Not ever African culture/tradition agrees with polygamy, my tribe particular in Angola polygamy is frawn upon. So it has nothing to do with eurocentric or religious ideologies, Africa is a continent with different countries cultures, traditions and values.

Bro Biblical principles and European principles are two different things also, the bible God approved of polygamy; Abraham the father of the Christian's had 3 wives and other men had multiple wives like Lamech, Jacob, Esau and Solomon to name a few, it was the Roman Empire who outlawed polygamy when they grafted parts of Jewish law with their own to establish their new world order and colonise foreign lands, this was inherited by the Celtic Euro tribes who continued that establishment and colonisation

This is why Christians who follow the Bible seek to begin this lifestyle of living to please God, here on Earth. According to Scripture, anyone whose ultimate aim is to please themselves has made an idol of themselves, so self-worship cannot exist in Heaven.
