Driving, at work, a social engagement, church, walking in an intersection...the list goes on. Screw texting. Keep your phone in an appropriate position in your life. And remember, texts don't have a conscience like talking does. Keep it simple and don't allow your phone to be the balancing point of anything. You can get by just fine without relying on it. I rather be version A. Once I was so convinced this girl had a huge crush on me, I sent her a message, no response. I let it be and eventually she reached out. I feel as though me jot chasing made me higher value in her eyes. I was gracious and didnt seem but hurt either.

A girl with high interest in me did that to me recently. I texted her and she responded within a couple of minutes. But she didn't respond to the next text. So I texted her 20 minutes later telling her "you're the worst texter ever lol". Then I actually deleted her number. This woman responded the next morning at around 7, double texting me with long texts and telling me how she fell asleep. In my mind I was thinking that was too quick because that text came right after she responded to the first one. I was like whatever. It's not like we're together like that. She does work a lot and she sounded somewhat sincere. Plus she smoothed it over with some flirtatious banter so I can tell she's smart and knows exactly what she wants from me... the point is is that me telling her she was the worst texter ever actually seemed to put her on her heels. I didn't sound desperate and called her out on her shit in a playful way. By the way things have been going so far she has the potential to stick around for a while. So she has to know she's going to have to respect me if we're going to be dealing with each other. She saw that I stood up to her, gave her a reason to be a little insecure and I put her in a state of fear of losing out all at once because in all actuality, she was about to lose out. You dont respond to me I'm out. You're gonna have to put in a little effort to get me talking again. The only reason I sent the "worst texter" text to her is because she had already responded to the first text and it did make me feel some type of way that she didn't respond to the second text. If she would've never responded to the first text I wouldn't have sent any other text but fk that, I had to let her know I didn't appreciate that, in the nicest, most subtle way possible. It actually made me feel good in the moment to send that text because to tell you the truth, the whole undertone of that text was telling her to go fk herself... we good now. Even though this chick likes me a lot and she even told me herself, she has still tried shit testing me and I've kept a masculine frame. I've gained her respect and formed some boundaries because I'm not all down her throat for her attention and time. We live in the same apartment complex so we run into each other sometimes and she gets touchy and feely now. I actually asked for her number a year prior to all this but she had a bf that she lived with that I didn't know of before asking her. So she approached me a year later and asked for mine. I was like hallelujah lol. I had like two flings within that time and this girl came at the right time. We talk over text like once or twice per week max. Our texts are short, sweet, funny and sexy. She's cool and we really like each other. The pace of this situation is different than that of other flings that I've had so I'm starting to wonder what the man upstairs has in mind lol.

There’s this girl I never talked to before but her friend told me she finds me attractive, she’s a very beautiful girl so I waited a week and then messaged her, the basic stuff like “hey, how are you” etc and from there I talk about how college is like etc, however I don’t know if she’s interested in talking to me or what I should do. She never replies during day hours so like 8-9, she only chats early in the morning (6-8) and late at night (9-11) maybe on the odd occasion she sends a message sometime in the afternoon in reply to a previous message I sent, I’ve been texting to her about 3 days now and she always usually takes hours to about 10 minutes to respond, the way our conversations also work is that I message first or ask the question first, however when she does reply it’s not the typical dead 1 word response like “good” etc, she writes an actual reply which I like. How could I tell if she’s interested in chatting me?

Nice video, man. Story: I went out with this girl and it was quite nice. I might have made 1 mistake when I started talking about something serious and a bit dark, but I switched the subject after 2min or so. I hope I did not sabotage myself too much with that because that is the only thing I can think of that might be bad. At the end she gave me a hug and when I asked her if she wants to go out with me again, she said "yes" and gave me her number. We aranged 1st date via FB, BTW. I texted her today and she did not respond. What gives? Why say she was ok with me and give me number if she was not sincere? :/ And, I also might see her reardless, because her work place is close to mine. If that happens, should I ask her why she did not say anything? Or just say "hi" and move on like nothing happend? Shiet...

I am not American but I am trying to learn how you guys responds during those dating issues. I met an American girl, we had 3 fun dates, no sex yet but we kissed all the time. She invited me to a social event but did not show up, she apologized next day by text but never explained why she missed the event. I replied short, cold but educated and just thanked her lines. Its been 4 days with no more messages from any side. For future references in case something like this happens again: should I just text, ask how her day is going then being sincere and say: I would like us to keep getting to know each other, but if you don’t feel the same anymore it’s OK, just let me know. Or you Americans are not used to clarify and place openly the final dot in the story ? THANKS!

This is great esp the Female Realty part and the 2 scenarios : she likes you/ she doesn’t like you. Most other advise sites miss this completely! That really good looking girl also gets constantly approached when she goes out to bars , clubs and even restaurants. So it’s not just texts. That’s one reason she isn’t seen out a lot even if she is single.

Jim, you are absolutely correct in not sending a second message. I'm in the same situation at this time. She has did this twice to me after seeing me twice. When we ran into each other for the third time she immediately sat down next to me. Talk to other people then turn toward me but said nothing. After 20 seconds I put my phone down and turn toward her and said how are you doing stranger. She didn't turn back to anybody after that. She touch me several time on the arm (from my hand to my shoulder) She held up her wrist (palms up) to show me something. Played and flicked her hair. And we talk about who we are and how we think about things. I just look at as a continuing story with an unknown ending with options open. We'll see!

In elementary and my first year of college, i had real good female attention. I am 27 now, i play guitar, decently attractive, smart,, im fit, stable job, and it was like 2 years ago, all of a sudden that female attraction was gone. I guess bc all the one's i talked to are married now? I don't know what happemed.
