This tips would surely help ppl play better dota. But not necessarily make player a great player. Make sure to always play in party because that is how you could get the most experience in dota and learn more too. Its not the mechanic its the principle behind it, team work

If i were that rubik, id put the sentry in the middle of the camp, so it covers the whole area box and i can kill the ward/sentry block. Then deny my own sentry. Win-win situation or if its a ward, free exp and money too. Thats how i usually played it to ensure total dewarding of a blocked camp. A good tip is to wait before putting a sentry, try to walk around the left area and the right area of the camp to see if their support is reacting. Most people tend to protect their ward the second they saw the enemy tried to deward. From there, you can predict quite accurately whether the ward position is giving sight over the left half of the camp or right half of the camp. And always put sentry almost near the camp spawn lines to cover 90% of the area for higher chance to deward 👍 Also, you can be annoying without using ward/sentrry to camp block. Just prepare to stand in the camp box when they almost spawn. Enemy will waste their sentry for nothing thinking their camp is warded. Tilted so many enemy support by doing this 😅

So u mean to say u have to wait for the enemy to hit your ward once first? What if the enemy have no sentry there, didnt u just blocked that camp yourself?
@picks70834 жыл бұрын
@@allaghendramorgan you mean the dewarding my own sentry? You can now deny your own sentry/ward even at full health. Try it on demo mode. Also if they decide to still block the camp near the tower, then we only have to block their small camp pull from spawning (i usually just stand there at :59). That way both creep wave will stay inlane haha, so its just a matter who deny the most. Better than having the whole creep wave killed by neutral camps 👍

at 3:34 Rubik made a mistake of not recognizing the warded area. Creeps that see a hero attack theirs would aggro on them, but if the fog of war hides them, they would immediately return, just like when you are chased by creeps and you went highground, but instead that 1 creep that got aggroed by Rubik went straight on him. You can notice the creeps behavior if you analyze it for the next 5 secs. Look at the creep that passed the 2 tree gap change aggro upon entering the wave again. edit: you can actually see Rubik's perspective (with fog of war) at 3:56 they have no vision when he just went out of the trees and entering the wave

Stopping every 2 seconds to break down trades and spell exchanges is SUPER helpful. A lot of guides are zipping through that sort of thing but the hyperfocus on "if this happens then that results, but if that happened then something else would happen" is useful to see the decision making process

Very helpful video, but let me ask something. If rubick and necro were immortal players, how could they use their advantage against your safe and patient laning? If rubick dewards (faster and correctly) Phoenix would still block the camp. Necro’s overcommit was a mistake, but if he doesn’t do that, they still don’t win, just draw. So what could have they done to win?
